Bank sells luxury Maybach car with 'beautiful license plate'

Vietcombank Saigon Branch has just announced the auction of collateral, a Mercedes Benz Maybach GLS 600 car of Khai Hoan International Joint Stock Company, a business operating in the field of medical glove production.

According to posted information, this Mercedes Benz Maybach GLS 600 has license plate number 51H-988.89, black exterior, manufactured in the US in 2020.

The car was imported to Vietnam and was granted a car registration certificate by the Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police to Khai Hoan International Joint Stock Company on July 7, 2021.

The bank announced the starting price for this luxury car is more than 8.2 billion VND excluding taxes, fees and charges.

The auction will take place at 10:00 a.m. on October 27 in the form of live verbal bidding.

Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 is known as the "president's" car. According to the price quote of an authorized dealer, the current listed price of Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 is 11.999 billion VND, the rolling price in Hanoi is 13.461 billion VND and in Ho Chi Minh City is 13.221 billion VND.

Agribank Thang Long Branch has just announced the auction of a BMW X5 car, registration number 30E-372.27, issued by the Traffic Police Department of Hanoi City Police on September 20, 2016 to Nam Tien Trading and Production Company Limited.

The starting price for this BMW X5 is 1.2 billion VND, excluding taxes, fees and other financial obligations as prescribed by law.

All related costs such as: Transfer fee, ownership transfer procedure fee, other fees (notarization fee of Sales Contract if any), all taxes and fees related to the auctioned property will be paid by the auction winner.

To register to participate in the auction, participants will have to deposit 120 million VND (equivalent to 10% of the starting price of the property).

This BMW X5 is being kept at Agribank - Thang Long Branch. The auction will take place at 9:00 a.m. on November 2, 2023.

The owner of the asset is Nam Tien Company, operating in the business of all kinds of galvanized steel pipes.

Previously, VietinBank announced the seizure of the McLaren 765LT supercar to ensure debt collection from customer Cao Thi Lan Phuong.

The McLaren 765LT with license plate 51K-011.86 is the collateral for Ms. Phuong's loan at VietinBank.

In Vietnam, there are currently no more than 5 of these cars, making it even more famous. After arriving in Vietnam, the price of this supercar is around 40 billion VND.

This car used to be owned by a tycoon who traded in “mutant” orchids in Ho Chi Minh City. He had to wait 8 months to bring this McLaren 765LT to Vietnam in 2021.

Initially, this million-dollar supercar was just seized by VietinBank. After completing the required procedures such as price appraisal, bidding, etc., the bank will auction this car to recover the debt.
