According to Euromonitor, the number of pets in Vietnam increased from 21 million to 27 million in the period 2016-2021, of which dogs and cats accounted for 43%. By 2027, the number of pets in Vietnam is expected to increase to 43 million.
Mordor Intelligence also stated that the size of the Vietnamese pet food market is estimated to reach 141.88 million USD in 2024 and is expected to reach 222.36 million USD in 2029, growing at a rate of 9.4% during the forecast period (2024-2029). It can be seen that the pet market in Vietnam is growing rapidly and has great potential.
