Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism has just issued an official dispatch implementing cashless payments for tourism businesses in the province.
Accordingly, the Department of Tourism recommends that tourism businesses in the province: Continue to effectively implement non-cash payment methods to facilitate people and tourists when paying for products and services, contributing to promoting digital transformation in business activities. In particular, businesses need to pay attention to applying some contents such as: Responding to and promoting non-cash payments in the province by placing banners, standees... at the reception hall, reception counters, ticket counters, cashiers and service areas or displaying on LED screens, TVs slogans promoting non-cash payments at the unit; apply and deploy more forms of non-cash payments such as payment by QR code, VNpay payment gateway, POS card swiping machine, Internet Banking, Mobile Banking... to facilitate customers in using services, shopping, and payment; Post QR code for online payment at the reception hall, cashier counter, ticket counter, reception counter of service areas so that customers can easily recognize and conveniently scan QR code and make cashless payment.
At the same time, the Department of Tourism also requires businesses to study and apply additional solutions to encourage customers to increase cashless payments (possibly linking with commercial banks in the province to launch stimulus packages for using cashless services (scan QR codes for discounts, etc.); promote propaganda, educate all employees and workers, and encourage customers to use cashless payments when paying service bills.
