(GLO)- Today (July 24), world rubber prices increased sharply on some exchanges. Domestically, rubber latex purchase prices at enterprises also fluctuated slightly, trading around 385-410 VND/TSC.

Accordingly, the price of RSS3 at the TOCOM Commodity Exchange (Tokyo) for August 2025 delivery increased sharply by 8.8 yen (equivalent to 2.74%), reaching 330 yen/kg - the highest level since the end of May. Meanwhile, the August 2025 contract on the SHFE (Shanghai) increased by 115 CNY (1.35%), to 14,995 CNY/kg.

In Thailand and Indonesia— the world’s two leading rubber exporters—unusually heavy rains during the dry season have delayed harvesting at many plantations. In China, wet weather has also disrupted supplies, although this year’s harvest is still expected to increase.

Domestically, rubber prices have also seen some adjustments. Specifically, the price of raw rubber latex at Mang Yang Rubber One Member Co., Ltd. ( Gia Lai ) is quoted to purchase liquid latex at around 389-393 VND/TSC; mixed latex at around 340-388 VND/DRC.

Phu Rieng Rubber One Member Co., Ltd. offers to purchase mixed latex at 380 VND/DRC, an increase of 10 VND/DRC; the purchase price of liquid latex is 410 VND/TSC, an increase of 10 VND/TSC.

Ba Ria Rubber Joint Stock Company purchases liquid latex at 390 VND/TSC degree/kg (applied for TSC degree from 25 to under 30); DRC coagulated latex (35-44%) at 12,700 VND/kg, raw latex is recorded at 15,800-17,000 VND/kg.

Binh Long Rubber One Member Co., Ltd. is currently purchasing latex at 386-396 VND/TSC/kg; mixed latex with 60% DRC is priced at 14,000 VND/kg.
