On June 2nd, Mr. Dao Cong Loi, Deputy Director of the Nghe An Department of Education and Training, announced that this year's 10th grade entrance exam in Nghe An will take place on June 5th and 6th.
Mr. Loi also stated that, unlike previous years, this year the Nghe An Department of Education and Training allows students to change their preferences after completing the exam.

Accordingly, after taking the exam, based on self-assessment of their performance, candidates can change their preferences to ensure the highest chance of admission.
The period for changing college preferences is from 7:00 AM on June 7th to 5:00 PM on June 10th. After this time, the system will no longer allow changes.
This year, the 10th grade entrance exam in Nghe An province has 72 testing centers with 3 subjects: mathematics, literature, and foreign language, with nearly 39,000 candidates taking the exam (competing for nearly 32,000 places in public high schools).
The Nghe An Department of Education and Training mobilized more than 5,500 people for the enrollment process, including over 3,800 invigilators.
This year's 10th grade entrance exam in Nghe An province was conducted entirely online, from registration and application processing to announcement of results and selection.
Some candidates with international English certificates are admitted directly to grade 10 after the selection process, without having to take the entrance exam.
Mr. Loi also stated that this year, the Nghe An Department of Education and Training will allocate 75-80% of the places to public high schools and 20-25% to other vocational education and training institutions.
