In order to promote environmental protection and sustainable development in Vietnam, the European Union (EU) has just launched the campaign "Press connection, turn on change," creating a space for young Vietnamese artists to come together to convey strong and inspiring messages through artistic voices.
In the project launch video posted on Facebook by the Delegation of the European Union to Vietnam, singers WEAN and marzuz represent the wind and rhythm of music ; dance group Last Fire Crew represents water, expressed through the flexibility of their choreography; and group Fustic.Studio and artist Mark Vu represent the Sun with the depth of visual art.
“These are fresh sources of energy for the young generation of Vietnam, and at the same time affirm the power of culture and art in opening up dialogue and promoting community action for a green future,” the Delegation representative shared.

With the main message “Action for climate, Creating green growth - EU and Vietnamese youth join hands for a sustainable future,” the campaign emphasizes the central role of Vietnamese youth in creating the future.
EU Ambassador Julien Guerrier said the campaign is a celebration of the increasingly close partnership between the EU and Vietnam. He also highlighted the creative role of Vietnamese youth in this effort.
“Together with the young generation of Vietnam, the European Union is turning climate goals into practical opportunities for a green and innovative future. It is not just a dialogue, but also action, innovation and cooperation to inspire sustainable change,” said the ambassador.
Through the campaign, the EU affirms its role as a partner accompanying Vietnam in green transformation, conveying a comprehensive message of sustainable development, improving skills and moving towards shared prosperity.

“Press Connect, Turn on Change” follows the “I've Got the Power” campaign (June 2025) in collaboration with female rapper Suboi, to introduce EU-Vietnam cooperation in clean energy.
In the coming time, “Press Connect, Activate Change” will continue to be spread through a series of digital content, the Sustainable Design Award, the European Education Week 2025 and many art projects on green development. These activities continue to demonstrate the EU’s commitment to accompany Vietnam towards an innovative and sustainable future.
The “Global Gateway” is an EU initiative to build sustainable, safe connectivity and green infrastructure that delivers long-term value without burdening future generations. The initiative is being implemented by reaching out to other European countries, mobilizing €300 billion for investment projects in the period 2021–2027, with the aim of creating critical links and closing the global investment gap.
In Vietnam, this strategy is present through the Tra Vinh wind power project, providing renewable electricity to 130,000 people and reducing 70,000 tons of CO₂ per year./.
