The Ky Trinh New Urban Area Project (now in Song Tri Ward) has been approved for investment by the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board in Decision No. 83/QD-KKT dated May 29, 2025. The project has a total investment of more than VND 8,000 billion, a scale of 84.12 hectares, including 2,596 adjacent commercial houses, 8 10-storey social housing buildings, and a synchronous technical - social infrastructure system such as: schools, hospitals, parks, parking lots, cultural houses, commercial centers...

The investor implementing the project is Thai Son Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company under Vingroup Corporation. The project is expected to start construction in early 2026. This is a project of special importance, contributing to the completion of technical infrastructure, forming a new urban appearance for Song Tri ward in the urbanization process.

On November 12, 2025, the Compensation, Support and Resettlement Council of the Ky Trinh New Urban Area Project (referred to as the Council) held a meeting in 4 residential groups: Quyen Hanh, Quyen Thuong, Tay Trinh and Hoang Trinh to inform the people about the project implementation and land acquisition.

On the morning of November 12, Song Tri ward held a meeting with residents of 4 residential groups: Quyen Hanh, Quyen Thuong, Tay Trinh and Hoang Trinh.

Mr. Tran Nam Vu - Vice Chairman of Song Tri Ward People's Committee, Chairman of the Compensation, Support and Resettlement Council of the project said: "The work of site clearance is always a difficult step, because it is directly related to the interests of the people. Therefore, we determined that to do well, we must rely on the people, explain clearly, publicly and transparently step by step, and promptly handle any problems that arise.

Currently, the ward has assigned staff to coordinate with residential groups and households to carry out inventory of land and assets. It is expected that in November 2025, the inventory and counting will be completed; then the next steps in the land acquisition work will be carried out such as: Meeting to confirm the origin of the land; developing a compensation plan to publicize information on land acquisition to the people; organizing payment and handing over the site as soon as possible to the investor ...".

Compensation, Support and Resettlement Council of Ky Trinh New Urban Area Project answers people's questions.

The Ky Trinh Urban Area Project will have to clear over 1,400 agricultural plots and 13 residential plots and garden plots of about 600 households in 4 residential groups. Specifically: 68.7 hectares of agricultural land; 0.19 hectares of residential land and garden; 8.35 hectares of irrigation land and traffic land managed by the Ward People's Committee and 6.88 hectares of land cleared from previous road projects...

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thuy - Secretary of the Hoang Trinh Residential Group Party Cell said: "Currently, people have grasped information about the project, from scale, progress to benefits and compensation policies. People have agreed with the policy of early handover of the site. Many households have committed to cooperate so that the site clearance work can be implemented on schedule, contributing to the formation of a modern urban area, improving the lives of the community...".

Currently, the site clearance work at the project is only in the initial stages of implementation, but the efforts of the Party Committee, government and grassroots cadres of Song Tri ward have created an important premise for people to clearly understand the long-term benefits, gradually reach consensus, and contribute to ensuring the progress of handing over the site to the investor.
