Which Vietnamese star appeared on the poster of the Women's Volleyball World Championship?

VBTV, the unit that broadcasts live matches at the Women's Volleyball World Championship, has just released a promotional poster for the most prestigious sporting event in women's volleyball, which will take place next week.

It is noteworthy that VBTV has chosen a Vietnamese face among the 4 athletes appearing on the main promotional poster of the tournament. Who is it?

The answer is not Bich Tuyen, Thanh Thuy, but surprisingly Nguyen Thi Trinh, a middle blocker currently playing for LP Bank Ninh Binh .

Nguyen Thi Trinh, 28 years old, has been a pillar of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team for the past 9 years. This girl from Dak Lak is often affectionately called Trinh "electric" by fans because of her lightning-fast playing style.

Having been with the Vietnamese team for nearly a decade, Trinh "electric" has obviously won most of the glory with the team. Being chosen to appear on the poster promoting the world tournament is a proud thing for this 28-year-old middle blocker.

The remaining 3 athletes appearing in the poster include 2 Japanese stars (one of the two is Mayu Ishikawa, a star playing in Italy) and 1 athlete from Thailand - Pornpun Guedpard.

Guedpard is 32 years old and currently plays in the United States. She is one of the legendary names in Thai women's volleyball. She has won the Asian championship twice and the silver medal once with the Thai team.

As for the Japanese stars, of course there is no question about their class. Being able to appear alongside world-class names on the world tournament poster is a source of pride for Nguyen Thi Trinh.

The 2025 Women's Volleyball World Championship will take place in Thailand from August 22. Vietnam is in Group G with Poland, Germany and Kenya.
