On June 25 and 26, at Tien Phong Commune Health Station, Ba Vi District (administrative unit in the new Quang Oai Commune), and Quang Minh Town Health Station, Me Linh District (new Quang Minh Commune), VNPT Hanoi coordinated to organize the experience of the medical management software - VNPT-HMIS.

People who come to see a doctor or receive treatment at health stations only need to use their Citizen ID card to scan the registration code. Patient data is stored in the software, ensuring monitoring of medical examination and treatment and interconnection with insurance, vaccination, and population records.

The medical examination and treatment process is quick, reducing paperwork and manual queuing. It is known that hundreds of people came to experience it at the two locations.

The trial aims to complete the VNPT-HMIS healthcare management software, ensuring it is put into use before the two-level government is deployed from July 1.

Up to this point, the software testing results show that 151,103 medical examination and treatment data, 188,093 population data, 424 accesses have been synchronized to the Department of Health's Operation Center.

According to a representative of VNPT Hanoi , in the past, at grassroots health facilities, there were many software programs to monitor medical examination and treatment and health care for people, such as vaccination, population management, medical examination and treatment management... Information about people's health was scattered, not synchronized and not connected with social insurance...

VNPT-HMIS health management information system was built by VNPT with the goal of managing all commune, ward, town health stations and health facilities with a single software that meets the regulations on shared use at all health facilities nationwide of the Ministry of Health, Social Insurance, and Ministry of Finance.

Currently, VNPT - HMIS has been deployed in 58/63 provinces and cities with nearly 7,000 medical stations in use, accounting for more than 60% of medical stations nationwide.
