People of Tan Loc commune search and kill rats on high mounds of earth located between fields.

Accordingly, from October 10 to 16, after the flood, the fields were flooded, and rats had no place to live. Localities in Loc Ha called on farmers to participate in the movement to destroy rats to protect crops, especially the upcoming winter crop of 2023 and spring crop of 2024.

Most communes and towns have taken action by digging holes, pouring water, smoking, shooting with slingshots... In nearly a week, the whole district has destroyed about 70 thousand rats; of which, the most are: Ich Hau 21 thousand rats, Thach My 18 thousand rats, Binh An 12.5 thousand rats...

People have collected rats and buried them according to the correct procedure to protect the environment.

The rats were buried carefully to protect the environment.

To encourage people to participate in rat extermination, some localities provide financial support (1-2 thousand VND/rat) or calculate the labor days for rat extermination to offset the annual labor days for transportation and irrigation work of families.
