People hope to receive compensation soon to hand over land for Tan Phu - Bao Loc expressway

On the afternoon of August 15, the People's Committee of Ward 1, Bao Loc (Lam Dong) coordinated with the Investment Project Management Board No. 1 and the Provincial Land Fund Development Center to organize a conference to disseminate and receive people's opinions related to land acquisition for the Tan Phu - Bao Loc Expressway Project.

The conference attracted the participation of more than 350 households from residential groups 14, 16, 17, 18 and 19 of the old Loc Phat ward (now in Ward 1 Bao Loc). These are households subject to compensation for land, houses, crops, architectural objects and attached assets to carry out land acquisition work to serve the Tan Phu - Bao Loc Expressway Project.

At the Conference, the people were informed by the leaders of Ward 1 Bao Loc People's Committee and the Lam Dong Provincial Land Fund Development Center about regulations, guidelines and policies related to land acquisition for the Tan Phu - Bao Loc Expressway Project. At the same time, the purpose, significance and importance of the Expressway Project for the overall socio -economic development of Lam Dong were communicated.

The project starts at Km 59+798.33 (connecting with Dau Giay - Tan Phu Expressway Project, Dong Nai Province) and ends at Km 125+675 (intersection with Nguyen Van Cu Street, Ward 1, Bao Loc, Lam Dong Province). The total length of the route is 65.88 km; of which, 11.91 km passes through Dong Nai Province and 53.97 km passes through Lam Dong Province.

Up to now, the final preparation stages related to the Project are being urgently completed by the authorities at both levels from the province to the grassroots level and relevant authorities to be able to start construction of the Tan Phu - Bao Loc Expressway Project as planned. In particular, the most important is the work of compensation and land acquisition to implement the Project.

The section passing through Ward 1 Bao Loc alone is 4.85 km long. The locality has now received and handed over site clearance piles related to the Project.

Currently, the People's Committee of Ward 1, Bao Loc is directing agencies and units to coordinate with departments and branches to complete cadastral information related to land recovery. At the same time, grasp the thoughts and aspirations of people subject to land recovery to proactively carry out propaganda and dissemination of regulations to people.

From there, issue a notice of land recovery for the Project as well as implement the work on compensation prices; measure and specifically count the recovered land area and assets and structures attached to the land to implement compensation and site clearance for the Project.

Along with that, the People's Committee of Ward 1 Bao Loc is coordinating with departments and branches to urgently complete the procedures for building resettlement areas to ensure people's lives when the State reclaims land to implement the Project.

People whose land is subject to land acquisition raise concerns and worries related to their legal rights and interests when the State acquires land to implement the Project.

At the Conference, representatives of households whose land was recovered all expressed their support for the State's correct policy on the construction of the Tan Phu - Bao Loc and Bao Loc - Lien Khuong Expressway Projects in general, and the Tan Phu - Bao Loc Expressway Project in particular.

Thereby, it is believed that after the Project is completed and put into use, it will contribute to improving the connectivity between Lam Dong province and the national transport network, shortening the connection time of the province with the key economic region in the South, major economic and social centers such as Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai.

People in Ward 1, Bao Loc also believe that the expressway will contribute significantly to improving the capacity of transporting goods and foreign trade, meeting the increasing demand, reducing traffic congestion and accidents on National Highway 20, which is currently overloaded.

From there, create a breakthrough in socio-economic development, promote tourism development, ensure security and defense of Lam Dong province, bring an increasingly developed, rich and happy life to local people.

In addition, people have also expressed concerns and worries directly related to their legitimate rights and interests when the State reclaims land for the project.

Specifically: Compensation rates for each type of land, crops, structures and assets attached to the land; the government and competent agencies must be truly transparent and fair in the process of measuring and counting land, houses, crops and people's assets attached to the land.

In addition, people also want to be informed about: documents and procedures to prepare to receive compensation and related support; the traffic system connecting to people's production areas after land is recovered; regulations on re-issuing land use right certificates to people for areas not recovered; support policies related to resettlement and job creation for people subject to land recovery...

Mr. Bui Quang Kham, Head of Residential Group 18, Ward 1, Bao Loc, expressed the people's thoughts and wishes when handing over land for the Project.

Mr. Bui Quang Kham, Head of Residential Group 18, Ward 1, Bao Loc said: “In the residential group, there are more than 100 households whose land is subject to land acquisition for the Tan Phu - Bao Loc Expressway Project. People are very sympathetic and supportive. However, households have also expressed concerns and worries about the compensation price for each type of land, crops, architectural objects and assets attached to the land; support policies related to resettlement, job creation for people subject to land acquisition...”.

Mr. Vo Viet Phuong, Head of Residential Group 17, Ward 1, Bao Loc, expressed the thoughts and aspirations of local people.

Mr. Vo Viet Phuong, Head of Residential Group 17, Ward 1, Bao Loc said: “In reality, there are quite a lot of people whose land is subject to land acquisition for housing construction projects on agricultural land. Therefore, people need more information on housing compensation regulations in this case. Along with that are support payments related to life, career conversion, employment, as well as regulations on compensation for agricultural land areas that have not been granted land use right certificates…”.

Mr. Le Anh Nam, representative of Lam Dong Province Land Fund Development Center, received and answered petitions from people subject to land acquisition at the Conference.

From the people's legitimate opinions and recommendations, representatives of Lam Dong Provincial Land Fund Development Center and leaders of Ward 1 Bao Loc People's Committee have received and acknowledged. At the same time, they have responded to opinions and recommendations within their authority.

The remaining opinions and recommendations are compiled to submit to competent authorities for consideration and prompt and thorough responses to the people based on current legal regulations. From there, creating absolute consensus from the people to effectively implement the work of compensation and land recovery for the Project.
