According to the staff of the 12/9 theater, the number of viewers coming to buy tickets to see the movie “Red Rain” these days has increased many times compared to other movies. All the main screenings were full, many viewers even had to book tickets in advance or accept to watch at late hours, showing the special attraction of the movie.
Not only at the 12/9 theater but also at other cinemas in Vinh City (old) also recorded a sharp increase in the number of people booking tickets to see the movie "Red Rain".

According to statistics, as of the afternoon of August 30, after more than a week of showing, “Red Rain” – a work produced by the People’s Army Cinema has reached nearly 275 billion VND in revenue and is expected to reach 300 billion VND in the next few days. This is a record number, unprecedented for a Vietnamese film about war.

The appeal of “Red Rain” comes not only from the scale of investment, the compelling script, the deep character development, but also from the special resonance factor: The film was released on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 - when the national spirit was rising.
