Young mother with terminal illness needs help

Suffering from many serious illnesses: severe diabetes, kidney failure, severe pneumonia requiring a tracheostomy, Ms. Nguyen Hoang Yen Phuong (37 years old) and her husband took their two young children to her sister-in-law's house to stay.

Previously, Ms. Phuong and her husband lived in Thanh Tri commune, now Vinh Binh commune, Dong Thap province. Having no land to produce, the couple lived in a dilapidated, leaky house, working hard as hired laborers; at night they went fishing to earn extra income to make ends meet. Unfortunately, 3 years ago, Ms. Phuong became seriously ill, and due to lack of money for timely treatment, her illness became more serious.

Ms. Phuong's husband said: "My wife has many serious illnesses and has no money for treatment. We have two young children (the older one is 12 years old, the younger one is 8 years old) and they have not been to school yet. I don't know what to do now."

Looking at Ms. Phuong's dull eyes, withered legs, and hoarse voice, I feel even more sorry for her family's miserable situation and worry even more about her two children facing an uncertain future. The poor, sick young mother lies there every day helplessly counting the passing time... and hopes that kind-hearted people and philanthropists will care and help Ms. Phuong to have the funds to treat her illness and overcome her difficult and sick times.
