Woman riding motorbike dragged 20m by train, died on the spot

(NLDO)- Colliding with a train while crossing the railway in Hanoi , a woman and her motorbike were dragged 20 meters and died on the spot.

On February 10, Thuong Tin District Police (Hanoi City) are coordinating with functional forces to investigate and clarify the cause of a traffic accident that left a woman dead in the afternoon of the same day.

Accordingly, at around 2:00 p.m. on February 10, while passing through Van Giap commune, Thuong Tin district (Hanoi), the Thong Nhat train moving from North to South collided with a motorbike driven by a woman. After the strong collision, the train dragged the motorbike and the victim about 20 meters.

As a result, the woman driving the motorbike died on the spot, the motorbike was completely deformed.

Previously, 6 days ago (February 4), there was also a train accident with a motorbike in Hoang Mai district (Hanoi), causing the motorbike driver to die on the spot.

Immediately after the accident, authorities barricaded four "black spots" where the crosswalk intersected with the railway from Giap Bat station to Van Dien station.
