(NLDO)- Rong Viet Securities Joint Stock Company recommends that investors consider reasonable portfolio management to avoid falling into a state of overbuying.
At the opening of the trading session on November 18, the stock market continued to be cautious and decreased points. After falling to 1,204 points, the market recovered quite well, at times turning green.
However, at the end of the session, VN-Index decreased by 1.45 points, closing at 1,217 points. Order matching liquidity on HoSE decreased with 556 million shares.
The VN30 basket of large-cap stocks decreased by 0.99 points, closing at 1,270 points. In the group, 12 stocks increased in price, such as TPB (+2.6%), SSI (+1.4%), VHM (+1.4%)... On the contrary, 14 stocks closed in red such as PLX (-1.8%), MWG (-1.7%), BCM (-1.5%)...

During the trading session, the securities group showed a clear improvement and created momentum to support the market. On the contrary, the retail, steel, and insurance groups remained weak.
Foreign investors continued to net sell on the HoSE with a value of 1,456 billion VND. Of which, they strongly sold shares of SSI (-268 billion VND), VHM (-243 billion VND), MWG (-196 billion VND)... On the contrary, they bought a lot of STB (+32.5 billion VND), TCB (+26.4 billion VND), GAS (+19.9 billion VND)...
According to Rong Viet Securities Corporation, the market will continue to be cautious in the 1,225 - 1,230 point range and there is a potential risk of a retreat.
"Currently, market stability is still low and risks are still hidden, so investors need to consider reasonable portfolio management to avoid falling into an overbought state," Rong Viet recommended.
In addition, VCBS Securities Company believes that investors can disburse the proportion of stocks in some industry groups that show signs of attracting demand again after having adjusted deeply to the bottom/support area with the goal of surfing T+.
However, investors need to pay attention to strictly following the profit-taking/loss-cutting rules to preserve capital/profit in case of unexpected fluctuations.
