Nhan Dan Newspaper Printing House receives the Third-Class Labor Medal

Attending the ceremony were members of the Central Committee of the Party: Vice President and First Vice Chairperson of the Central Emulation and Commendation Council Vo Thi Anh Xuan; and Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper and President of the Vietnam Journalists Association Le Quoc Minh.

In her opening remarks at the anniversary celebration, Ms. Tran Thi Kieu Thanh Binh, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the Nhan Dan Newspaper Printing Company Limited in Hanoi, stated that the history of the Nhan Dan Newspaper Printing House is always closely linked to the history of the Nhan Dan Newspaper.

Seventy years ago, upon returning to take over the capital in October 1954, in accordance with the Central Party Committee's decision and under the direct guidance of the Nhan Dan Newspaper Editorial Board, the Nhan Dan Newspaper Printing House was established on the basis of taking over the IDEO (Viễn Đông Printing House) at 24 Trang Tien Street.

In late April 1955, the Nhan Dan Newspaper Printing House began operations, printing a portion of the Nhan Dan Newspaper's circulation. By April 30th, the entire production of Nhan Dan Newspaper issue 425, published on May 1st, 1955, printed in two colors with a vibrant red masthead, had continuously poured out from the LB 201 typographic roll printing machines. Since then, April 30th has been celebrated annually as the Traditional Day commemorating the founding of the Nhan Dan Newspaper Printing House in Hanoi (now the Nhan Dan Newspaper Printing Company Limited, Hanoi).

Throughout its history, under the leadership of the Party and the Editorial Board of Nhan Dan Newspaper, the Nhan Dan Newspaper Printing House has continuously developed and matured, successfully fulfilling its political nhiệm vụ; organizing the production and printing of Nhan Dan Newspaper and its publications; and producing high-quality Party documents, maintaining its top position among the Party's printing enterprises…

At the ceremony, on behalf of the President and Party leaders, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan presented the Third-Class Labor Order (for the second time) to the leadership, staff, and workers of the Hanoi Nhan Dan Newspaper Printing Company Limited, recognizing the company's outstanding achievements in the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland.

Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Le Quoc Minh, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, reviewed the glorious 70-year tradition of Nhan Dan Newspaper Printing House - now Nhan Dan Newspaper Printing Company Limited, Hanoi.

Comrade Le Quoc Minh stated that, throughout various historical periods, the unit has continuously developed and excellently fulfilled its nhiệm vụ of printing press publications of Nhan Dan Newspaper, documents serving Central Committee meetings, and important documents of the Party and State, directly contributing to propaganda work, guiding public opinion, and building the ideological foundation of the entire Party and the entire people.

With a strong sense of responsibility, the company's staff consistently upholds its traditions, overcoming numerous difficulties and challenges to maintain, develop, and master modern printing technology.

"In recognition of the company's outstanding achievements over the past 70 years, the Party and State have bestowed many prestigious awards, including two First and Second Class Independence Orders; three First, Second, and Third Class Labor Orders; and today, the Third Class Labor Order (for the second time) - a testament to the persistent, continuous, and proud dedication of generations of the company's cadres and workers," Comrade Le Quoc Minh emphasized.

Commending the great efforts and achievements that the Hanoi Nhan Dan Newspaper Printing Company has made throughout its 70-year journey of construction and development, Editor-in-Chief Le Quoc Minh also requested the leadership, staff, and employees of the Hanoi Nhan Dan Newspaper Printing Company to continue to uphold the tradition, spirit of unity, proactiveness, and creativity, and effectively implement key tasks in the coming period.
