(HBĐT) - Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa) not only has blue sea, white sand, and golden sunshine, but is also attractive and impressive with unique architectural works, expressing the unique culture of the region and ethnic groups. Therefore, coming to Nha Trang this time, we have built a journey without a tour or route to freely explore and experience, thereby understanding more about the land and people here.

Tourists take beautiful photos with unique architecture in the Ponagar Tower relic complex, Nha Trang City ( Khanh Hoa ).

The first place we went to was the legendary Hon Chong scenic spot in Vinh Phuoc ward. This scenic spot is a large rock complex with many shapes stacked naturally on top of each other, running from the shore to the sea, creating an impressive natural layout and beautiful, sheltered natural beaches. The Hon Chong rocky beach area seems to be separated from the hustle and bustle of the city and is known as one of the most beautiful places to watch the sea in Nha Trang. This natural masterpiece was ranked as a national monument in 1998, becoming a must-see destination for tourists when coming to Nha Trang. Therefore, as soon as the dawn broke, we were there to sightsee, relax and take beautiful photos. Sipping a cool cup of Bac Xiu at Hon Chong Cafe Park, looking back at the photo clearly showing a deep hand-shaped dent on a large rock, I curiously asked: There must be some story behind this hand-shaped dent? The waitress, who was in her early 20s, happily introduced: All of these factors have made the Hon Chong scenic "picture" more vivid and attractive, and has long been a must-see destination for tourists coming to Nha Trang.

Having read the work "Agarwood Land" by writer Quach Tan (1910 - 1992), a work recording the history and geography of Khanh Hoa province with the comment: "Nha Trang is not a commercial city but a tourist city, a city with surplus food. Therefore, if you want to enjoy the scenery of Nha Trang, you must find a place of nature, not a place of artificiality...". Following the instructions from the book, I went to places with beautiful scenery and bold cultural colors. The Ponagar Tower relic complex is one of the impressive Champa cultural architectural complexes in Vietnam. The Tower is located on a hill about 50m high. According to the tour guide, the tower is designed with 3 floors: the lower floor is an ancient tower that no longer exists; the middle floor is called Mandapa, consisting of 4 rows of octagonal columns creating an extremely unique architectural complex; the top floor is the main towers. The tower is decorated with reliefs such as the image of dancing Apsara dancers and Shiva, ensuring the elements of beauty, uniqueness and strangeness. Inside the tower is the statue of goddess Po Ina Nagar (according to Cham beliefs) or Thien Y Thanh Mau Ana (according to Vietnamese beliefs), the statue is carved from marble sitting on a lotus pedestal, exuding a majestic and respectful appearance.

Hearing the saying "Whoever visits Khanh Hoa/ Long Son should stop by, don't forget to go to Thap Ba/ Kim Than Phat To, remember to go up/ Look at the white Buddha sitting on the sky...", we came to visit and worship Long Son Pagoda, a pagoda located on 2/10 Street, Nha Trang City. According to the locals, this is one of the oldest and most sacred pagodas in Nha Trang. The pagoda is especially famous for worshiping Kim Than Phat To - the largest outdoor Buddha statue in Vietnam. Long Son Pagoda has undergone many renovations but still retains its ancient and solemn features, and is visited by many Buddhists, locals and tourists to find peace of mind. Standing from the pagoda yard, you can admire the whole view of Nha Trang City. Therefore, up to now, Long Son Pagoda has always been an attractive destination, including many groups of visitors from Korea, China, India, Malaysia...

Another destination not to be missed is Nha Trang Stone Church - a work with bold Gothic architectural style. The stone church is located on a hill right in the center of Nha Trang City, with an area of about 4,500 m2, 12m above the city level. Admiring the majestic and unique church, we felt like we were lost in the film set of Western European movies set in the Middle Ages.

Having been to tourist destinations such as: Nha Trang Oceanographic Institute, Hon Tam wooden bridge, Diep Son island or Skylight Nha Trang..., now experiencing more attractive destinations, we - tourists from the mountainous and midland regions of the North have a common opinion: Nha Trang is a place where the scenery holds tourists' feet!
