National table tennis champion Dinh Anh Hoang and his teammates were awarded more than 1.2 billion VND.

On June 5, T&T Group held an award ceremony for coaches and athletes of the CAND T&T Table Tennis Club with outstanding achievements at the 2025 National Championship. At the tournament, athletes of the CAND T&T Club won 3 gold medals (men's doubles, men's singles, men's team) and 3 bronze medals (mixed doubles, men's doubles, women's singles).

Notably, Dinh Anh Hoang (a member of the national table tennis team) became the men's singles champion for the first time. Dinh Anh Hoang's achievement ended the dominance of Hanoi and Hai Duong after he defeated his senior Nguyen Anh Tu (Hanoi) in the men's singles final with a score of 4-1.

In addition, Anh Hoang and Le Dinh Duc also successfully defended the men's doubles championship for the 6th consecutive year. In the men's team event, CAND T&T excellently defeated the Hanoi team 3-0, reclaiming the championship lost the previous year.

Head coach of CAND T&T table tennis club Vu Manh Cuong said that the club's achievements were greatly contributed by athlete Le Dinh Duc. Le Dinh Duc, 26 years old, won 2 gold medals in men's doubles and men's team.

Previously in 2013, Dinh Duc had a terminal illness, the risk of paralysis of the legs due to ankylosing spondylitis. After a process of treatment and constant efforts, Dinh Duc not only recovered but was also able to continue pursuing his passion for sports . At the age of 26, Dinh Duc is a national table tennis champion, his story also strongly inspires the community.

According to Mr. Do Vinh Quang - Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of T&T Group, the cooperation between T&T Group and the People's Public Security Sports Association (Ministry of Public Security) is a testament to the effective model between public and private resources, joining hands to develop sustainable sports.

Before the tournament, the athletes went to China for training. Thanks to that, many players of the CAND T&T Club had a clear breakthrough. Typically, Dinh Anh Hoang has really "transformed" strongly in his playing style, confidently attacking.

Dinh Anh Hoang and Tran Mai Ngoc are the current champions of the mixed doubles event at the SEA Games. The athletes’ biggest goal this year is to defend their gold medal at the 33rd SEA Games, which will take place in Thailand this December.
