Nam Dinh General Hospital staff assaulted

(Dan Tri) - An employee of Nam Dinh General Hospital was suddenly assaulted by a young man while working in the Intensive Care Unit.

On May 6, a leader of the Nam Dinh Provincial Health Department confirmed that on May 4, an employee of Nam Dinh Provincial General Hospital was assaulted by a young man while working in the Emergency Resuscitation Department. After the incident, the police worked with the people involved.

Previously, a video was circulated on social media recording an incident at around 8:00 a.m. on May 4, at the Intensive Care Unit of Nam Dinh General Hospital, where a young man in a black shirt repeatedly punched a medical staff member in the head and face.

A leader of Nam Dinh General Hospital said that while doctors and medical staff were treating a patient in the Intensive Care Unit, a young man believed to be a relative of the patient who had just returned from Hanoi became angry and punched a hospital staff member in the face.

Nam Dinh Provincial Department of Health is asking the hospital to specifically report the cause of the above incident.
