According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, from June 7-8, the Central Highlands and the South will have moderate rain, heavy rain, some places will have very heavy rain and scattered thunderstorms with rainfall of 50-100mm, some places will have over 150mm (heavy rain will occur mainly in the afternoon and evening).
During the day and night of June 7, the North and Central regions will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain with rainfall of 20-40mm, in some places over 70mm.
Specifically, from 7:00 a.m. on June 7 to 7:00 a.m. on June 8, the Central Highlands and the South had rainfall of 30-60 mm, with some places over 80 mm. From 7:00 a.m. on June 8 to 7:00 a.m. on June 9, the Central Highlands and the South had rainfall of 20-50 mm, with some places over 70 mm.
Widespread thunderstorms and localized heavy rain in the Central Highlands and the South are likely to continue for many more days.

According to meteorological experts, widespread thunderstorms and localized heavy rains are at risk of causing flash floods, landslides in mountainous areas and flooding in low-lying areas.
