In the morning, the National Assembly deputies focused on questioning groups of fields including industry and trade; agriculture, rural development; culture, sports and tourism. The responsibility for answering questions belonged to the Minister of Industry and Trade - Nguyen Hong Dien; Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development - Le Minh Hoan and Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism - Nguyen Van Hung.
Speaking at the opening of the question-and-answer session, Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man affirmed that the National Assembly Standing Committee conducted question-and-answer activities to review the implementation of the Government, ministries and branches on 6 Resolutions on question-and-answer and thematic supervision of the National Assembly Standing Committee from the beginning of the 15th National Assembly term to the end of 2023.

This is the first time in the term of the 15th National Assembly that the National Assembly Standing Committee has re-implemented supervision activities, demonstrating the responsibility of the National Assembly Standing Committee in supervising to the end the implementation of the requests and recommendations of the National Assembly and the National Assembly Standing Committee. Thereby, it aims to comprehensively assess and propose solutions to promptly resolve problems, further enhancing the responsibility of the agencies under supervision.
At the question-and-answer session, in the agricultural sector, delegates focused on questions such as agricultural product support policies; the expansion of new markets for Vietnamese agricultural products; planning and planning in the agricultural sector; and the removal of the yellow card on fisheries for Vietnam.
In addition, the contents on the arrangement, relocation and re-arrangement of residents in areas at high risk of being affected by natural disasters; solutions to achieve the target of 3.5 million hectares of rice and handling the subsidence situation in the Mekong Delta were also questioned by delegates to the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development.
