The groups of goods and services with price indexes decreasing last month include: food and catering services, beverages and tobacco, and transportation. Of which, the transportation group had the sharpest price index decrease (down 2%). The main reason is the decrease in fuel prices, public transport service prices, especially the sharp decrease in passenger transport service prices by rail when travel demand decreased after Tet. Overall, in the first quarter of 2025, the province's average consumer price index increased by 3.93% over the same period last year.
