Yearbook photos preserve the brilliant, beautiful youth of school age
Shining in yearbook photos
So, the final year high school students have attended the coming of age ceremony and are preparing to take the high school graduation exam. The moments of taking yearbook photos are extremely special and meaningful times for them. Mai Hong Phuoc (12V grade student, Long An High School for the Gifted), believes that "framing" all the beautiful memories will be a way to mark the short remaining time.
Because in each yearbook photo is the image of you and your friends at the most brilliant time of youth, with innocent smiles and memorable moments. Later, no matter how far away you go, these photos will always remind you of the beautiful student days that have passed.
Normally, taking yearbook photos takes place in the final year of high school. However, with the collective class 11A12, Can Giuoc High School (Can Giuoc district) decided to take a yearbook photo album right at the end of this school year. The students believe that youth is the present moments, the emotions that are surging, not waiting for a specific time to keep. When looking back at those photos, each person will see the maturity and progress in their journey.
Nguyen Chi Tam - a student of class 11A2, Can Giuoc High School, shared: “We want to preserve the most authentic memories of our student life. The class's yearbook photos are based on everyday moments in daily classes. What I remember most when taking the yearbook photos is that each classmate took turns "teasing" the homeroom teacher. The teacher also did not hesitate to "bully" the students with humorous comments, creating a lively and joyful atmosphere. The yearbook photo shoot that day was extremely successful, leaving us with unforgettable memories. And we also had very natural yearbook photos, full of emotions."
Memories come flooding back through old photos
Many years after leaving school, former students still feel emotional when looking back at their yearbook photos. For them, each photo is not only a preserved moment but also a piece of memory.
For Ms. Le Ngoc Minh, yearbook photos will be an invisible thread connecting her "youth".
Ms. Le Ngoc Minh (former student of Vo Van Kiet High School, Vinh Long Province) is the same! Every time she looks back at her yearbook photos, she feels like she is reliving the wonderful days of her student days. Looking at the innocent, carefree images of herself in her uniform or the moments of playing with friends, the mischievous pranks in class,... all come back to her as vividly as if they happened yesterday.
“The yearbook photos capture a period of “school youth” that everyone only experiences once in their life. That is where the moments of my “friends” during the years of studying together, under the same roof are kept. Although sometimes we quarrel, get angry,... but after that, we cherish our friendship even more.
Because they are the ones who are by our side, sharing all our joys and sorrows, adding to the brilliant picture of youth. Even though time passes, even though each person has their own life, the yearbook photos will be an invisible thread connecting us, so that every time we look back, we can reminisce about our past youth together" - Ms. Ngoc Minh shared.

For Ms. Nguyen Le Truc Linh (former student of Le Quy Don High School, Tan An City), even though she graduated more than 5 years ago, she still has the habit of looking back at old yearbook photos and the emotional lines she wrote on her personal social networking site for those photos.
Every moment of innocent, carefree school days with close friends at the beloved school comes back vividly as if it happened yesterday. There are happy, radiant moments in the pure white uniform. There are naughty, innocent moments in the classroom.
There are playful, mischievous moments during camping trips. And there are also quiet, emotional moments during farewells.
“To me, youth is a picture with all the colors woven from friends and teachers. That picture has smiles and also tears.
The friendship in high school years was very pure. In those years, we were young children supporting each other's souls, helping each other and considering each other as family. And the teachers in that picture of youth were warm colors, the "ferrymen" who gave us noble love. Every time I look at the yearbook photos, I always wish I could go back to that time, the time of hard work, diligence, a bit impulsive but enthusiastic and passionate,... It all lies in the two words "youth" - Ms. Truc Linh emotionally said.
These days, the radiant faces of grade 12 students shine like flowers on the day of gratitude and maturity. |
Yearbook photos are not only beautiful images but also preserve priceless memories of each person’s youth. Even though time passes, those photos will always be proof of a student life filled with laughter and joy./.
