The Hoan Kiem District Job Consultation and Transaction Day 2025 was held on the morning of April 27 in front of the Hoan Kiem Lake Cultural Center - No. 2 Le Thai To, in the Hoan Kiem Lake Walking Street area. Elaborately organized, taking place in an open, large space, in the center of the Capital, associated with the Launching Ceremony of the Month of Action on Labor Safety and Hygiene - Hoan Kiem District Workers' Month, the event attracted the attention of tens of thousands of people in the Capital and international visitors.

Looking closely at the recruitment needs summary information board, Mr. Le Quang Truong (in Giang Van Minh Street, Hanoi , currently working at Cargill Vietnam Co., Ltd.) shared with reporters of Hanoi Moi Newspaper: “Going to Hoan Kiem Lake Walking Street with my family on the weekend, participating in the Hoan Kiem District Job Consultation and Transaction Day 2025, I found this event really meaningful. The public and transparent provision of recruitment needs and criteria of businesses, as well as contact information of the Hanoi Employment Service Center, the City Job Exchange right at a special check-in point on Hoan Kiem Lake Walking Street is really useful for the community, especially young people of working age. Recruitment consultation desks are arranged right at the center to help workers easily access job opportunities. Ms. Nguyen Thuy Hong, a retired official at the Ministry of Education and Training , shared: “Having worked in human resource training, I found that the Hoan Kiem District Job Consultation and Transaction Day 2025 was organized on a large scale and professionally, meeting the needs and job orientation for workers, especially young people on the threshold of starting a career. With the participation of reputable employers, just by looking at the recruitment needs, income levels, and benefits of each profession, young people, especially high school students, will have a clearer career orientation, choosing the most suitable and effective path for themselves.”

Practical support for workers

The Hoan Kiem District Job Fair 2025 has the participation of more than 30 businesses, with nearly 2,000 recruitment and enrollment positions. Affirming the wide-open job opportunities for workers at this job fair, Mr. Do Phu Duy, Manager at Eliana Premio Hotel (108 Hang Bong, Hanoi) said: "Our hotel alone has a need to recruit dozens of personnel in the positions of receptionist, security guard, main chef, room attendant, technician, restaurant table staff, kitchen assistant staff...".

More broadly, the Hoan Kiem District Tourism Association has up to 200 job vacancies at restaurants and hotels. At the Job Consultation and Transaction Day, if any worker is successfully interviewed and recruited by businesses, they will be signed an on-site employment contract and even receive a bonus of 1 to 2 million added to their first month's salary.
