Phan Thiet, Ninh Thuan or Quang Binh are places with many beautiful sand dunes, immense and eye-catching. If tourists have set foot here, it is very difficult to feel bored.
Binh Thuan is one of the provinces with the most unique and attractive beauty in Vietnam, possessing the vastness of the ocean, the endless green of the mountains and forests, and especially the beauty of the vast sandy beaches. The first place in the top sand dunes in Binh Thuan that tourists often visit is Bay Sand Dune in Mui Ne with an area of about 50 hectares. If you come to Bay Sand Hill during the windy season, you will witness the magic of nature as the sand dunes transform with each whirlwind. Bau Trang (also known as Bau Sen) is located about 65km northeast of Phan Thiet city, in Hoa Thang commune, Bac Binh district, Binh Thuan province. Known as the little Sahara with sand dunes that are sometimes far away, sometimes near, this place attracts tourists with the experience of off-road vehicles climbing hills on the sand. Previously, Bau Trang sand was also yellow, but due to natural accumulation, especially from the lake water, the sand gradually turned white. Having fun on the white sand dunes in Phan Thiet, you can freely play and pose in the vast, boundless space, with only sun and wind. It is not difficult for tourists to find this white sand hill, because it is located right on the most beautiful coastal road in Vietnam. Quang Phu sand dunes are located in Quang Phu commune, about 8km from Dong Hoi city center. To get to this place, visitors go straight along Truong Phap street through Nhat Le beach, go a little further and you will see a three-way intersection on the left. The sand dunes are still pristine, the landscape and environment have not been affected by humans. Stepping to the top, you feel like you are lost in the desert, the air is fresh, and sandboarding is also extremely interesting. Quang Phu sand dunes have a special attraction for tourists because not only do the sand patterns change shape every day, every hour because of the drifting sea breeze blowing day and night, but the color of the sand also changes every hour. During the day when the sun is up, you will see pure white, smooth sand, but when the sun is out, the sand shines bright yellow, and at dusk it turns grayish white. When talking about sand dunes, Ninh Thuan is a must-mention. There are at least 3 virtual living locations here: Nam Cuong, Son Hai and Mui Dinh sand dunes. The scenery of the sand dunes here is like a movie in Tibet, the sand dunes seem to be endless, layered on top of each other. When the wind blows, these sand dunes follow each other in a chasing manner, looking from afar like undulating waves. Son Hai Sand Dunes in Mui Dinh is one of the impressive destinations. The natural scenery here is peaceful, wild, with little trace of human impact. Mui Dinh is located in Son Hai village, Phuoc Dinh commune, Thuan Nam district, about 40km south of Phan Rang. This place is located in a rather remote location, where few people live, so few people know about it. The geology of Mui Dinh is boulders and sand dunes. The rainfall here is very low, only about 600mm per year, and in drought years it drops to 300mm, making the land quite arid. In Mui Dinh, some restaurants use tractors for transportation because other vehicles cannot move on the thick layer of sand along the coast. Due to the long distance, those who are afraid of walking can hire this service for 100,000 VND/trip, each trip can carry 8-10 people. Ninh Thuan has a tropical to near-desert climate with the characteristics of hot and dry, windy, and strong evaporation. Therefore, the terrain here is also quite typical. Having fun in this sunny and windy land, it is difficult for tourists to feel bored.
