In the context of the housing market that is posing many big questions: Why do young people, despite working all their lives in the city, still find it difficult to buy a house? Why are many satellite urban areas that were once widely promoted now falling into disrepair? And how to restore confidence in housing in the period when new laws have been issued... The Vietnam Real Estate Association (VNREA) directed and coordinated with the Lao Dong Newspaper and the Real Estate Review Community to organize the "Housing Real Estate Forum 2025" with the theme "Satellite Waves" on the afternoon of September 18 at the New World Saigon Hotel (HCMC).
The forum is expected to have about 500 guests, including leaders of the Ministry of Construction , management agencies, economic and planning experts, and leaders of many real estate businesses and distribution units. This is not only a place for academic discussion but also a multi-dimensional forum for management agencies, businesses and the community to dialogue.
The program's content focuses on the macro picture and legal framework for the 2025-2026 period; analyzes the trend of population movement from the urban core to satellite areas; defines the planning vision to 2030 with the criteria of "livable satellite cities", linked to infrastructure, health care, education , and employment; and discusses solutions for real housing development, limiting legal and infrastructure risks in the new cycle.

Speakers attending the forum will also analyze in depth a series of issues facing the market, such as: the impact of new legal documents; three institutional, financial and data drivers that will shape the standard of "Vietnam's satellite cities" in the next 5 years; which post-merger policies will prioritize which areas to create confidence in the market; how the picture of inflation, interest rates and credit in 2025 will shape the demand for satellite housing; as well as external risks such as geopolitical fluctuations, rising global interest rates or declining growth.
Another focus is to forecast the population trajectory when a series of beltway, highway, and metro projects are completed in the 2025–2030 period, thereby determining the direction of satellite urban development around core urban areas.
The highlight of the forum is the latest survey and statistical figures from DKRA Group and Savills Vietnam, helping investors and businesses have a more comprehensive view of the satellite market prospects.
The common denominators of successful satellite cities around the world will be analyzed, including factors such as travel time, on-site employment, 15-minute radius amenities and operational management. These suggestions are not only reference data, but also the foundation for planning suitable solutions for Vietnam.
Dr. Nguyen Van Khoi, Chairman of VNREA, emphasized: "The forum will not only be a place to share strategic visions, but more importantly, to build trust, towards a transparent and sustainably developed market, so that every citizen has the opportunity to settle down."
With the consistent message "On track, sustainable assets", the event is expected to contribute to shaping a new direction for the real estate market in the 2025-2030 period, while providing practical solutions for the housing dream of millions of people.
