Quan Son district is focusing all resources to speed up the progress of housing construction for poor households, policy families, and households with housing difficulties according to Directive 22.

The family of Ms. Ngan Thi Nui, in Na Meo village, Na Meo commune, is a poor household. Her husband and eldest son have passed away from illness, and her second son is seriously ill and often has to go to the hospital for treatment. The family's income depends on a few fields of rice, making life difficult for the family. For many years, Ms. Nui's family has lived in a temporary house. With the attention of all levels and sectors, her family has received financial support to build a house.

Ms. Ngan Thi Nui said: "Thanks to the support of the State, the help of my brothers and sisters in the family and the villagers, my family has built a solid house. Now, the house has been completed and put into use. My dream of having a solid house has come true. This is the motivation that helps my family strive to escape poverty."

Through the review and approval of the list of poor households, policy households, and households with housing difficulties in Quan Son district, in the two years of 2024-2025, the district has 1,449 households in need of housing. Of which, 850 households need to be newly built and 599 households need to be repaired. The District Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front have focused on propaganda and calling on the community and businesses in the area to join hands to support poor households, policy households, and households with housing difficulties. At the same time, the district has assigned comrades in the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee to stay close to the grassroots, grasp the practical situation to advise the steering committee on solutions to complete the set goals. Direct communes and towns to step up propaganda work, so that people can strive to overcome difficulties, with the support of the State and the community to complete housing, and soon stabilize their lives.

By the end of April 2025, Quan Son district had mobilized and received support sources with an amount of more than 67 billion VND to build and repair houses for poor households, policy households, and households with housing difficulties according to Directive 22. Currently, 932 houses have been completed and 366 houses have started construction.

Comrade Luong Thi Hanh, Secretary of Quan Son District Party Committee, said: Determining that the effective implementation of Directive 22 of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee in the district has great political and social significance, Quan Son district continues to promote propaganda and dissemination work so that cadres, party members and people of all walks of life clearly understand the content, purpose and significance of the campaign. Mobilize the entire population, launch a comprehensive campaign, in which uphold the exemplary vanguard role of cadres and party members, the responsibility of heads of Party committees, authorities, agencies and units... Proactively call on and mobilize organizations, enterprises, philanthropists, cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees and people of all walks of life to join hands, contribute, and work with Party committees and authorities to effectively implement the campaign to support the construction of houses for poor households. Arouse the will of self-reliance, self-reliance, and proactively rise up to escape poverty of poor households; Mobilize relatives in the clan to contribute human resources, working days, and mobilize other legal funding sources to complete the construction and repair of houses. Regularly guide, inspect, and supervise communes and towns in implementing housing support policies for households to ensure that support is provided to the right subjects as approved, for the right purposes, and effectively. Timely commend outstanding collectives and individuals who have made many contributions to building houses to help poor households and households with housing difficulties, creating a spread in society.
