As of November 22, 8/9 water plants have resumed operations, ensuring stable water supply for the majority of customers. Tuy Hoa Water Plant is still temporarily suspending water supply due to heavy damage.

Floodwaters deeply inundated the raw water pumping station and the Binh Ngoc water treatment area, damaging almost the entire pumping system, control equipment and backup generators. The incident affected more than 38,000 customers in Tuy Hoa, Phu Yen, Binh Kien, Dong Hoa, Hoa Hiep wards and part of Tuy An Nam commune, causing a lack of water for daily use for many days.
Faced with the urgent situation, Phu Yen Water Supply and Drainage Joint Stock Company is mobilizing maximum manpower and equipment to speed up the repair progress. The unit is pumping water out of the engine room, assessing the extent of damage, repairing or replacing pumps, restoring the control system; and cleaning the tanks to ensure the quality of the output water.

The company also mobilized human resources and equipment support from specialized units outside the province to shorten the recovery time. The unit strives to put Tuy Hoa Water Plant back into operation within the next 48 hours, soon supplying water to people to stabilize their lives after the flood.
