The Serbian was originally scheduled to practice from 1pm to 3pm at the Aorangi practice facility with a number of practice partners provided by Wimbledon. The time was then moved to 3pm to 4.30pm. Finally, the practice partners were informed that the July 10 session was cancelled altogether.

Previously, Djokovic slipped in the final game of the quarterfinal match against Flavio Cobolli on July 9. Fans were worried about the physical condition of the 7-time Wimbledon champion, and Nole himself has not made any official announcement about the injury.

Djokovic came from behind to beat Italian Flavio Cobolli 6-7, 6-2, 7-5, 6-4 in the quarterfinals of Wimbledon 2025. In the final game, Nole slipped and fell on the grass of Centre Court. However, Djokovic quickly got up, completed the last two points to win a ticket to the semi-finals to meet Sinner.

Speaking after the quarter-final, Djokovic said: “It was a very unpleasant fall, very unexpected. But this often happens on grass. I hope in the next 24 to 48 hours, I will recover well and be able to play at my best against Sinner. To beat Jannik, I have to play my best tennis. I know that.”

In the semi-finals, Djokovic will face top seed Jannik Sinner, who has beaten him in four consecutive matches recently, including the 2025 Roland Garros semi-finals. However, at Wimbledon, Djokovic eliminated Sinner in the 2023 semi-finals and the 2022 quarter-finals.

Novak Djokovic continued to affirm his legendary status by becoming the first male tennis player in history to reach the Wimbledon semi-finals for the 14th time, surpassing Roger Federer's old record (13 times). The Serbian star's goal is to aim for the 25th Grand Slam of his career.
