The movement "Farmers compete in good production and business", promoted by the Farmers' Association of To Mua commune, Van Ho district, has created a widespread influence, promoted the dynamism and creativity of members, and built effective economic models.

To Mua Commune Farmers' Association has 12 branches and more than 1,000 members. Ms. Luong Thi Hoa, President of the Commune Farmers' Association, said: Implementing the movement "Farmers compete in production and good business", every year, the Association proactively coordinates with agencies and organizations to propagate and mobilize members to change the appropriate crop structure; encourage people to apply scientific and technical advances in production, increase productivity, develop the economy , and strive to get rich. Accepting the trust with the District Social Policy Bank Transaction Office to create conditions for 230 member households to borrow, with a total outstanding debt of over 8.7 billion VND.

From 2024 to present, the Association has coordinated with relevant units to organize 3 training courses for nearly 300 people on tea and fruit tree production and care techniques, and waste treatment in livestock farming. Established a cooperative group "Organic Clean Tea Production Group" in Pan Ngua village with 8 tea growing households participating, aiming at local experiential tourism ; maintained the cooperative group "Planting and caring for fruit trees on sloping land" in Dao, Lien Hung, Men villages, with 22 members. From the Farmers Support Fund, 32 member households were lent 1.5 billion VND to implement the model "Improving and caring for tea trees"...

With the support of the Association and the efforts of its members, more and more typical examples have emerged in the movement "Farmers compete in good production and business". In 2024, the whole commune will have 400 good production and business households at all levels, including 200 commune-level households, 140 district-level households, 40 provincial-level households and 20 central-level households.

The family of Mr. Dao Van Cuong, Lien Hung village, To Mua commune, has been awarded the title of good farmer and businessman at the provincial level for many years. Mr. Cuong shared: With the support of the Commune Farmers' Association, in 2015, the family invested in raising fattened buffaloes and cows and selling breeding cows. Currently, the family raises 45 cows, 7 buffaloes and grows more than 1 hectare of tea, earning an income of 300 million VND/year.

In Bo Mong village, Mr. Luong Van Huong's family has focused on developing a comprehensive economic model. Mr. Huong shared: Through training courses of the Farmers' Association, I have applied it in practice and achieved clear results. The family is currently raising 100 cows, 50 pigs, 8 sows, growing 1 hectare of corn, 2 hectares of tea, 3,000 m² of grapefruit and longan. Thanks to that, each year, the family earns more than 200 million VND.

Continuing to promote the movement "Farmers compete in production and good business", To Mua Commune Farmers' Association creates conditions for members to access loans; coordinates with specialized agencies to transfer science and technology, contributing to promoting farmers to actively participate in labor, production, and increase income.
