People's Artist Minh Chau, U70: My daughter is secretly looking for a boyfriend for me!

- Many people wonder why the beautiful woman Minh Chau is nearly 70 years old but still looks so youthful and radiant. What is her secret?

My secret is not terrible at all. I often tell people to love a lot. Love is not just love between men and women, but also love many things around, love animals, love plants and flowers, and love Vietnamese people. Wherever I go, I am very proud of Vietnamese people! Deep down, I love everything, even when someone treats me badly, I don't care or think about it much.

Therefore, you must always create a comfortable spiritual life for yourself, no one will give it to you. It comes from within and does not come naturally, you have to practice and read the most positive things. Even when I am most miserable, I never think of doing anything negative to anyone. I have many friends and playgroups. I think that is the secret. It all depends on yourself. If you know how to love, you will live comfortably and exude youthfulness.

- You have many friends and always think positively so you rarely feel sad, but when you are sick and alone, does People's Artist Minh Chau feel sad?

As a human being, there are times when I feel lonely or sad. At that time, I choose to share with everyone instead of hiding it to quickly get out of that situation. When friends come to me, I will reduce a lot of stress and feel loved and cared for.

- Are you still living alone and your daughter lives in the US like she has for many years?

She lives in the US and still comes back to Vietnam occasionally. My daughter is only worried about her mother so she secretly looks for a boyfriend for me. If I meet someone suitable, I will agree immediately (laughs). She has organized a few meetings but I am not at the point where I like her so it has not been successful. My daughter is now 42 years old and just had a baby last year. My grandchild will be 1 year old this November, I miss her so much that I recently went to the US to visit her.

- Have you ever thought about moving there to live with your children and grandchildren?

I just like being in Vietnam, it’s okay to visit but it feels like I don’t belong there. Back here I have friends, family, relatives, many things to enjoy and not be lonely.

- Does your daughter want to bring her grandmother to live permanently in America?

He is encouraging me to go live there, but at my age it is difficult to change my life, unless I have some brainwashing (laughs) . I have children and grandchildren there, but I will lack many other things, which are very important to me.

Therefore, I am still in the process of thinking about what is the best way to do it because I want to create a good environment for my child to live and study. When I went to the US recently, I did some research and found that the education system there is great, I don't have to worry about anything. I accept the sacrifice of living apart so that my child can receive the best education.
