The event took place on the occasion of Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day, November 23 – a time when heritage-honoring activities receive attention nationwide.
The exhibition was attended by leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment , leaders of Hai Phong City and many delegations from provinces and cities with strengths in heritage such as Dien Bien, Phu Tho, Quang Ninh, Ninh Binh, Hue, Da Nang... The presence of many localities shows the common effort in making heritage a resource for sustainable development.

According to the Organizing Committee, the 2025 Exhibition aims at a dual goal: Promoting the value of Vietnam's cultural and natural heritage and raising public awareness of conservation in a modern context. The exhibition space is built in an open direction, increasing visual experience, creating a different mark compared to the traditional exhibition model.
The highlight is the topic “President Ho Chi Minh ’s concern for national cultural heritage”, presenting important documents showing his thoughts on preserving cultural identity as the foundation of nation building. Next is the photo cluster “Vietnam – Country of Heritage” introducing the heritage system honored by UNESCO – from nature to tangible and intangible culture – reflecting the stature and diversity of Vietnamese culture.

The space “Colors of Intangible Cultural Heritage” continues to attract viewers with outstanding values such as Bac Ninh Quan Ho, Hue Royal Court Music, Central Highlands Gongs, etc. These types of art are not only ritualistic and artistic, but also witness to the longevity of indigenous culture.
The exhibition also devotes a significant area to the Vietnamese Ao Dai – a cultural symbol of national identity – combined with light sculptures, the Ceramic & Tea space and the photo collection “Heritage Journey 2025”, creating a constantly changing range of emotions, from traditional to modern.

The space “Promoting Vietnam’s rural tourism” hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment shows a new approach: economic development associated with cultural and environmental conservation. Here, visitors can experience handicrafts, enjoy rustic cuisine, and learn about the green community tourism model – a trend being pursued by many localities.
During the event, many art activities were held consecutively: Festival of folk art clubs (November 22), Street parade "Honoring Vietnamese Ao Dai" (November 23), art program "Shining colors" (November 23), mass art exchange and introduction of the cultural space heritage of Northern communal houses (November 24). The closing ceremony and dance exchange program are scheduled to take place on the evening of November 24.

This year’s exhibition is considered not only to introduce heritage, but also to create a forum for localities, artisans, and managers to share experiences in preserving, promoting, and exploiting heritage in a sustainable manner. Thereby, the role of cultural heritage in socio-economic development continues to be affirmed, in line with the goal of building an advanced Vietnamese culture with strong national identity.
