People's Artist Quang Tho brings 'spring tunes' to ignite Gen Z

TPO - Along with the story about the inspiration for composing songs about love for the homeland and country of musician Truong Quy Hai, People's Artist Quang Tho performed songs that have stood the test of time to "fuel the tradition" for Gen Z on a special stage.

On April 28, at Phan Huy Chu High School (Dong Da, Hanoi ), the exchange program "Telling historical stories - Fueling tradition" took place with the theme "The country is full of joy - Triumphant song forever".

The program resounded with proud melodies of songs that have accompanied the years: “The Girl Who Opened the Road” by musician Xuan Giao; “The Song of Truong Son” by musician Tran Chung, “The March of Days and Nights” by musician Phan Huynh Dieu.

On stage, the program featured the performance and interaction of musician Truong Quy Hai - one of the representatives of the generation of young people and students in the capital who "put down their pens and go to war" to protect the Fatherland.

Besides lyrical songs like “Hanoi, this season is without rain” which are loved by many generations, musician Truong Quy Hai has written many works on the theme of love for the homeland and the soldiers who died in the war to protect the country.

In particular, the stage “Telling historical stories - Fueling tradition” also resonated with the heroic voice that has resonated forever with time of People's Artist Quang Tho. People's Artist Quang Tho performed a number of songs that contributed to his name and voice becoming famous: “Spring Melody” – music by Cao Viet Bach, poem by Luu Trong Lu; “Red Leaves” – musician Hoang Hiep; “You are the belief in certain victory” – musician Chu Minh.

The program ended with the song "As if Uncle Ho were here on the day of great victory" by musician Pham Tuyen.

The exchange program "Telling historical stories - Fueling tradition" is a series of activities directed and organized by the Hanoi Youth Union to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) for students at many schools: Phu Dien Primary School (Bac Tu Liem District); University of Electricity; Chu Van An High School for the Gifted (Tay Ho); Tran Phu High School (Hoan Kiem) and Phan Huy Chu High School (Dong Da).

The Youth Union wishes to help the younger generation understand more about the years of arduous fighting and the sacrifices of the previous generation, fostering patriotism, strong will and national pride, thereby continuing to inherit and promote in the work of building and defending the Fatherland today.
