For old courses with students studying at the school, AI and Entrepreneurship skills and knowledge will also be gradually supplemented to ensure that students are fully "equipped" when participating in the future labor market.

Not stopping at integrating AI into the content of specialized subjects whenever possible, Duy Tan University's re-planning of the training program for AI will include 3 compulsory AI credits and can add from 1 to a maximum of 3 specialized AI credits depending on the training major; spanning the entire university journey, ensuring continuity, practicality and suitability for each major. The goal is not only to help students understand AI but also to make this AI an indispensable part of students' career thinking.
3 required AI credits include:
- 1 credit: basic AI skills in life and academics,
- 1 credit: AI skills and knowledge by industry,
- 1 credit: AI competencies required for the training major (may include computational skills and programming Machine Learning or Deep Learning).
Modern facilities to maximize training in Information Technology and AI at Duy Tan University
Specifically, with the first credit in the first year of university, students will be exposed to core concepts, development history and potential applications of AI in all fields. Not only stopping at equipping theoretical knowledge, students will also be trained in essential academic AI skills, conducting scientific research with the support of AI, summarizing learning materials, designing and presenting reports or projects professionally... Popular AI tools such as ChatGPT, Grok, Notion AI, Gamma/SlidesAI... will be integrated into the lectures. Knowledge about ethical use of AI will also be introduced.
For the next AI credit, the training content is customized to suit the characteristics of each industry (represented by training schools or members of the Duy Tan University system):
- Technology & Engineering students will explore how AI can be used in automated programming, source code analysis, or designing intelligent data systems.
- Economics, Management, Finance & Services students will have access to AI tools to analyze market data, forecast consumer trends, assess risk, and automate marketing, organizational, and financial reports.
- Students majoring in Languages, Social Sciences & Humanities will have access to AI tools to analyze natural language, study social behavior, and create creative content such as writing/poetry, translating, or analyzing statistical, cultural, and legal data.
- Medical and Pharmaceutical students will be trained to use AI tools to maximize learning efficiency according to the Evidence-Based Learning (EBL) model; develop skills in automatically analyzing patient data, supporting medical diagnosis, assessing risks of medical decisions, etc.
Duy Tan University organizes a training program on applying AI technology in work, teaching and scientific research for staff and lecturers of the whole school.
The final required AI credit will focus on specialized AI content, where students apply AI directly to their field of study. For example, Graphic Design students will use tools such as Runway, Midjourney, or Adobe Firefly to create automated videos, develop creative graphic ideas, design brand identities, etc. This practical approach helps students in each field not only master general AI but also know how to create many creative values in their future careers.
All three required AI credits are taught directly in class and in labs, while AI content integrated into existing courses can be delivered via online learning or Microlearning.
Dr. Tran Nhat Tan, Vice President of Duy Tan University emphasized: " We do not just teach AI as regular subjects but aim to build AI capacity as a core foundation, helping students adapt, innovate and lead in the digital age" .
Cooperation with leading IT companies brings AI learning opportunities to Duy Tan University students
The cooperative relationship with prestigious international corporations such as Samsung, Alibaba, LG, Microsoft, Fore... over the years has facilitated Duy Tan University to increase its technological capacity in AI training and coaching. Typically, since 2023, Samsung has transferred 2 labs and 3 courses on AI, IoT, and Big Data through the Samsung Innovation Campus (SIC) project, and Alibaba Cloud Intelligence has granted academic access on Alibaba's cloud platform (AAEP) to Duy Tan University in 2024.
