Meritorious Artist Xuan Bac will be the MC of the Mottainai program 'Give love, receive happiness' in 2023

The program is part of a series of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam - Japan diplomatic relations (1973 - 2023), the 93rd anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Women's Union (1930 - 2023) and the 75th anniversary of the Traditional Day of Vietnam Women's Newspaper (1948 - 2023).

The 10th Mottainai program "Give love, receive happiness" will take place at 2:00 p.m. on October 21, at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square and Dinh Tien Hoang dual carriageway, Hoan Kiem Lake walking street ( Hanoi ).

The program was attended by leaders of the Vietnam Women's Union; the Embassy of Japan in Vietnam; representatives of ministries, branches, and Hanoi City; 4 Ambassadors of the Mottainai 2023 program: Meritorious Artist Xuan Bac, Miss Crescent Moon Be Thi Bang, writer Hoang Anh Tu and Japanese singer and actress Naktani Akira. In particular, about 300 orphans and children in difficult circumstances from provinces and cities across the country will participate in the program and receive scholarships and gifts.

Taking on the role of MC at the celebration is the 2023 Motainai Ambassador, Meritorious Artist Xuan Bac. Co-hosting the program with Meritorious Artist Xuan Bac is MC and actor Luong Giang.

Artist Xuan Bac shared: “Becoming the Mottainai Ambassador in the 10th season of the program, I want to contribute my small part to spread love. I also hope that all those who participate in the program, know the program to further spread the meaning of Mottainai: Not only sharing and caring for children in difficult circumstances but also building a green lifestyle, building a lifestyle where love between people spreads. And good values ​​will be the core to bring us closer together”.

Previously, at 6:30 a.m. on October 21, the Mottainai Run 2023 will take place on the walking street around Hoan Kiem Lake to raise funds for the Mottainai "Give love, receive happiness" program to support orphans and children affected by traffic accidents.

The competition has attracted a lot of registrants. Currently, many famous people have confirmed that they will participate in Mottainai Run such as actress Thanh Huong; MC, singer Kim Huyen Sam; actress Luong Giang; MC Manh Khang and many beauty queens, runners-up... Taking on the role of MC of the running competition is runner Nguyen Thuong Viet.

The organizers will donate 25% of the value of each ticket to the Mottainai fund "Give love, receive happiness".

The organizers also encourage each participant of Mottainai Run 2023 on the morning of October 21 at Hoan Kiem Lake to bring at least 1 used book to the program to give to orphans and disadvantaged children.

Within the framework of the Mottainai Festival, there is also the Mottainai Bazaar Fair, which gathers dozens of booths, entertainment activities, and group games taking place on October 21-22.

In particular, on the evening of October 21, at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square, there will be a music gala "Giving love, receiving happiness" with the participation of many famous singers and models.

After 9 seasons, the Mottainai program of the Vietnam Women's Newspaper has become the largest program in Vietnam to donate used goods for humanitarian purposes, honoring green lifestyles, attracting more than 500,000 participants, benefiting nearly 6,000 disadvantaged children. The program has received a certificate of merit from the Embassy of Japan, and was awarded the Creative Women Award in 2017.
