Designer Do Trinh Hoai Nam is trusted with the role of inspiring the start-up of a million-dollar model.

VHO - Designer Do Trinh Hoai Nam, with many positive contributions to women's entrepreneurial journeys in recent times, has been respectfully invited by the Vietnam Women's Union to continue participating as an expert and professional advisor throughout the implementation of the upcoming project.

Overview of the meeting to provide comments on the draft Project

On June 17, the Vietnam Women's Union held a meeting to provide comments on the draft Project "Supporting women to start businesses in the period 2026-2035", with the participation of the Union's leaders, members of the Project drafting team and nearly 70 delegates from ministries, branches, startup experts, representatives of the Women's Union and businesses.

With many proposals and opinions given to perfect the content of the Project, the meeting demonstrated the determination of the Vietnam Women's Union in promoting a comprehensive, practical and adaptable female startup ecosystem to the new context.

Ms. Tran Lan Phuong, Vice President of Vietnam Women's Union delivered the opening speech.

“ The Government's issuance of Resolution No. 26/NQ-CP, assigning the Vietnam Women's Union to preside over the development of this project, is not only an inheritance of achievements from the 2017-2025 period, but also an affirmation of the Government's belief in the Union's central, connecting and leading role in the ecosystem supporting women's startups,” said Ms. Tran Lan Phuong, Vice President of the Vietnam Women's Union.

At the meeting, the Association's leaders highly appreciated the strong development of women's start-up groups in recent times, especially from typical programs such as the 2024 Women's Creative Start-up and Green Transformation Competition.

From these activities, many women have transformed themselves: knowing how to build brands, apply e-commerce, use digital platforms and build business models towards social and environmental values.

Designer Do Trinh Hoai Nam proposed circular models for the Project at the meeting.

As a member of the Jury and directly accompanying the contestants in the 2024 Women's Creative Startup and Green Transformation Competition, designer Do Trinh Hoai Nam gave many insightful opinions and suggestions, based on practical experience in supporting women in creative startups.

The designer especially emphasized the role of integrating technology factors, training business skills, as well as building a unique value chain associated with Vietnamese cultural identity.

In addition, consulting on personal and product branding is also proposed to be promoted, in parallel with orientations for developing new business models.

These contents are cleverly integrated with market aesthetics, strategic thinking and cultural identity – contributing to forming a sustainable foundation for startup projects with modern and flexible models with women's communities in different areas.

From her practical contributions in practice, especially her pioneering role in specialized training programs on design skills, ao dai tailoring, business thinking and active participation in many activities supporting women nationwide, designer Do Trinh Hoai Nam was respectfully asked by the leaders of the Vietnam Women's Union to continue accompanying the Project in the role of professional advisor.
