Making:
Soak dried wood ear mushrooms until softened, then chop finely. Soak vermicelli until softened, drain, and cut into short pieces. Finely dice the onion. Separate the egg yolks into two (set aside).
- Mix together minced meat, wood ear mushrooms, vermicelli, eggs (4 eggs and 2 egg whites), 1 teaspoon salt, 2 teaspoons sugar, 1 teaspoon pepper, 1 teaspoon seasoning powder, 2 teaspoons minced garlic, and a little finely chopped scallion.
- Pour the mixture into a large mold or small bowl, and place the salted egg yolk on top (if desired).
- Steam for 30 minutes until cooked through. Remove and make a cross-shaped incision on the surface of the meatloaf (if using a large mold). Apply 1 tablespoon of cooking oil to the surface of the meatloaf (this will prevent it from drying out during baking). Drizzle 2 egg yolks evenly over the surface of the meatloaf and bake in the oven for 15 minutes at 200°C.
If you don't have an oven, put them back in the pot and steam them, but remember to leave the lid open so the eggs can dry on the surface.
That's it! Take the eggs out, cut them into bite-sized pieces, and enjoy!
