Over the past 30 years of establishment and development, BRG Group under the direction of Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Nga has always put people at the center of business activities, especially focusing on gender equality and women's empowerment as it is the workplace of more than 22,000 employees, of which 60% are women, and 50% of the Group's senior leadership team are women.

As Vice President of the Vietnam Association of Women Entrepreneurs (VAWE), President Nguyen Thi Nga has directed and implemented many comprehensive and consistent support programs, creating a driving force to connect, promote and support the business community, especially women-owned businesses. Over the years, BRG Group's retail distribution chain has connected with VAWE members on the basis of the strengths of both sides through many specific programs including financial solutions with the active participation of major financial institutions such as DFC, IFC and major investment funds in the world .

In particular, Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Nga and BRG Group have preserved and developed the ancient Chu Dau ceramic line with a history of nearly 600 years, a quintessence of Vietnamese culture whose founder, Bui Thi Hy, a typical intellectual, artisan, businesswoman, and navigator, has made Vietnam famous throughout the world since the 15th century through sophisticated ceramic products.

The orientations and consistency in development strategies, especially efforts in gender equality in Vietnam, were also shared by President Nguyen Thi Nga during her working activities abroad. In December 2022, President Nguyen Thi Nga was the only Vietnamese businesswoman invited by the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs to attend and speak at the 2022 World Council for Women (WAW!) Conference held in Tokyo, with the participation of many world leaders such as the Prime Minister of Japan, the President of Iceland, the Executive Director of the United Nations Development Fund for Women (UN Women), the Secretary General of the European Commission, the President of Moldova, the winner of the 2018 Nobel Peace Prize, etc.
