Meeting Lieutenant Nguyen Song Kieu Tram, an archives officer at the Provincial Border Guard Command Office, many people will be impressed by her clear eyes and bright smile. However, hidden behind that is a strong, courageous personality, always striving to improve, especially with a very kind heart.
Lieutenant Kieu Tram shared: “As a young female soldier, the nature of my job is extremely sensitive, difficult, requiring meticulousness and precision, so I try my best, constantly learn, accumulate experience from practice, master professional skills, not afraid of difficulties, hardships, ensuring that I complete all assigned tasks well.”
Military life has trained Lieutenant Kieu Tram to have a strong will and toughness, but that does not "blur" her inherent gentleness and kindness. She actively responded to the emulation movement "For the poor - No one is left behind", the program "Accompanying women in the border areas", "Godmother", activities towards the border, social security, towards the community, helping those in difficult circumstances to rise up in life.

She is an active member of the Provincial Border Guard Women's Association, which organized the sponsorship of Nguyen Lam Phong, a 5th grade student at Dong Da Primary School (Quy Nhon City). In addition to supporting Phong financially, Kieu Tram also regularly visits Phong's house to encourage, care for, and help him in his studies and life, giving him more joy, warmth, and the will to strive forward.
Nguyen Lam Phong shared: "Ms. Tram and the Border Guards often come to my house to encourage me, buy me clothes and books, and teach me how to study. They make me feel like a second mother. I am very happy, so I will try my best to study well so as not to let them down."
Ms. Tram is also a multi-talented female soldier, achieving many achievements in her work and activities. In 2022, she was awarded a certificate of merit by the Binh Dinh Provincial Youth Union for winning third prize in the Logo Design Contest, second prize in the Propaganda Cover Photo Design Contest, and second prize in the Representative Frame Design Contest for the 14th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Binh Dinh Province, term 2022 - 2027. In 2023, she won first prize in the Propaganda Infographic Design Contest with the theme "Celebrating the 93rd Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Celebrating the Year of the Cat 2023".
Not only that, Kieu Tram is also an active member in the cultural, artistic and sports movements.
Commenting on Lieutenant Nguyen Song Kieu Tram, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Tien Sy, Chief of Office of the Provincial Border Guard Command, said: Kieu Tram is a very dedicated and enthusiastic female officer, always trying to overcome difficulties and complete all assigned tasks well. Energetic and actively participating in movement activities, she is the nucleus of the cultural, artistic and sports movement of the unit. In particular, Kieu Tram has a kind heart, is always enthusiastic about community life, and is trusted and loved by officers, soldiers and people.
With her efforts, for many consecutive years Kieu Tram has achieved the title of advanced soldier, grassroots emulation soldier, typical young face of the Provincial Border Guard, typical young party member of Binh Dinh province in 2025 and is a delegate of Binh Dinh province to attend the 9th National Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union , term 2024 - 2029.
