Female student inspires beautiful life

Receiving great joy about the study results but not resting on her laurels, these days, Ha Phuong is both trying hard to review for the 10th grade entrance exam and taking care of her seriously ill father so that her mother can go to work to earn money to treat her father and support the family. Previously, Phuong's father was a bricklayer, but later suffered a severe stroke and was bedridden. Her mother works as a worker at the District Center for Environment and Urban Areas.

From a young age, Ha Phuong studied diligently and diligently, revealing a sensitive and emotional soul early on. Her childhood was filled with days of loving to read children's books, chatting and living with the characters in the books.

In grade 6, realizing that she had a special love for literature, Ha Phuong began to focus on self-improvement, enriching her knowledge of literature as well as practicing her expression and writing skills. During this time, she was also noticed by the school's Literature teachers, who began to guide her in her studies and further develop her knowledge. Because her family's circumstances did not allow it, she did not attend extra classes anywhere.

Ha Phuong said she is the second child in the family, her older sister is married, and she has two younger siblings. Due to difficult family circumstances, in addition to studying, Ha Phuong always takes the initiative to help her parents with housework. During these times, she also listens to podcasts or literary audio on her smartphone to accumulate rich knowledge for herself.

Time in class is very precious to me. Ha Phuong focuses on her teachers' lectures. She also spends a lot of time in the school library reading books, searching the internet for literature theory research documents; discussing life issues to accumulate a solid amount of knowledge. Phuong shared: "If I don't focus on studying in class, at school, I have very little time to study at home. I usually finish my housework before sitting down to study."

With her profound knowledge and sharp mind, Ha Phuong has applied her knowledge to her writings convincingly in district and provincial Literature competitions for excellent students. She won first prize in the district Literature competition for excellent students in grades 8 and 9.

At the provincial-level cultural competition for excellent secondary school students, with emotional writing, sharp thinking, fresh and unique perspectives, and the ability to analyze and synthesize, Ha Phuong's essay was awarded the highest score by the competition's judges, 16.5/20, in which the highlight was the social argument section discussing the meaning of life and contributions of young people.

Ha Phuong shared: “While studying and doing homework, I always stay calm to think and evaluate problems from many perspectives. This is a Literature learning skill that I have acquired throughout secondary school through the new program. For me, literature is not just words but also a place for me to express my emotions and thoughts about life. I always try to read a lot of books, learn deeply about the author, the work and constantly improve my writing skills.”

According to Ms. Dang Thuy Quynh, one of her two Literature tutoring teachers, Ha Phuong is always well-behaved, has a special talent for literature and creative thinking; has inner strength and a desire to constantly learn. With the first prize in the provincial Literature competition, she has left a memorable mark in her learning journey. She is the pride of her family, teachers and friends, and at the same time is a shining example for other students to follow.

Not only good at Literature, Ha Phuong is also good at Math and social sciences . She has been an excellent student for 8 consecutive years. Energetic, enthusiastic, the literature-loving female student lives a gentle, friendly life, always loved by teachers and friends.

In all circumstances, Ha Phuong always has a special love for Literature. She hopes to pass the entrance exam to the Literature class of Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted next school year and dreams of becoming a lawyer. The story of Ha Phuong overcoming adversity to study well has inspired many students in the province to live a beautiful life.
