The information was sent to the authorities by the People's Committee of Vung Tau City on the morning of June 28 regarding the car crash that killed two people and injured five people that occurred on the evening of June 27 in the area. After causing the accident, the female driver was determined to have opened the door and got out of the car in an "unconscious state". The authorities measured her blood alcohol level at 0.503 mg/l. This is the highest level (0.4 mg/l) in handling alcohol violations.

According to the report of Vung Tau City Police, at about 9:15 p.m., Ms. Thanh (37 years old, living on Le Loi Street, Thang Nhi Ward) drove a 4-seater car on Nguyen Van Troi Street in the direction of Bai Truoc Beach. When arriving in front of house number 101, Nguyen Van Troi Street, the car collided with a garbage truck pushed by Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong, 44 years old, walking in the same direction.

The car continued to the intersection with Hung Vuong Street, hitting a motorbike driven by Mr. Bui Xuan Thao, 44 ​​years old, carrying a 13 year old boy.

Not stopping there, the car rushed to the red light area in front of the intersection of Nguyen Van Troi - Ba Trieu - Le Lai - Le Quy Don, colliding with two motorbikes going in the same direction.

After the collision, Ms. Thanh's car rolled the motorbike under the car, dragged it towards Le Quy Don Street, and continued to crash into the motorbike of Ms. Phan Thi Su, 73 years old, and Ms. Le Thi Nhu Tien, 43 years old, who were waiting at a red light.

The car pushed the motorbike and the victim onto the sidewalk in front of house number 38 Le Quy Don, colliding with another motorbike and car parked on the sidewalk. The car that caused the accident stopped when it hit a street light pole. The distance between the motorbikes and the car was nearly 500 meters.

The series of accidents caused Mrs. Su and her children to die on the spot, the remaining 5 victims were taken to the emergency room with multiple injuries and broken legs; 4 motorbikes and 2 cars were damaged.

Ms. Le Thi Nhan Tien (Mrs. Su’s daughter) said the accident happened when her mother and twin sister were riding their motorbikes to the beach and on their way home. She only learned about the accident when she was surfing the internet and saw her mother’s license plate lying on the sidewalk.

According to her family, Nhu Tien is not married and lives with her mother in a small house in an alley on Pham Hong Thai Street. The mother and daughter often go for walks on the beach and exercise every night, with Su driving. "My mother has a driver's license and drives very carefully," said Nhan Tien.

Currently, the female driver is being detained by Vung Tau City Police for investigation.
