Cloud cap phenomenon appeared on the morning of May 31
Although it is a super rare phenomenon in the world , lenticular clouds are no longer strange to Ba Den Mountain - a mountain considered one of the sacred places in the country. This morning (May 31), many Tay Ninh people continued to witness this rare cloud phenomenon returning to the top of the mountain, with a giant cloud like a flying saucer upside down on the top and dragon scale-shaped clouds surrounding it.
Mr. Tran Thanh ( Tay Ninh ) said: "This is the second time I have witnessed the phenomenon of flying saucer clouds on the top of Ba Den mountain, but this time the cloud hat appeared with extremely beautiful dragon scale-shaped clouds. Especially, at this time, the Buddha's birthday is taking place solemnly across the country. It is truly amazing".
Lenticular clouds are a rare cloud phenomenon that has been recorded in the world, often appearing along high mountain ranges and in sheltered areas on the mountain slopes, especially when there is a steady dry and moist air current passing over the mountain or hill. When the moist air layer is pushed up and reaches a saturation point, it condenses into clouds. The special thing about lenticular clouds is that they are always motionless, rarely can any wind move them.
At Ba Den Mountain, this is the second time this year that the lenticular cloud phenomenon has been recorded. In addition, this highest mountain in the South has also seen many strange phenomena such as the phoenix-shaped cloud on the occasion of New Year's Day 2023, or the "fire rainbow" phenomenon on the mountain top in January. After the strange cloud images were widely shared on social networks, many people eagerly came to Tay Ninh to hunt for clouds.

It feels like I have received a blessing" - Ms. Tran Anh Thoa - Hanoi said.
