When bride Jazmin Reyes and her fiance Miguel Sotto in the Philippines were planning their wedding, they wanted to do something unique and special for their wedding invitations. “I wanted our wedding experience to start with invitations that were more unique and original than just paper,” Jazmin Reyes shared on TikTok. Each loaf of bread comes in five thick slices tied with a white lace bow. The sliced loaf bears a solid logo and is housed inside a thin cardboard box. The packaging has text printed on it, including lines like “Bready or Not, Here We Go. Come Toast Forever With Us!”. Below this line is the wedding date and the couple’s names. Photo: @Jazmin Reyes. Wedding information typically included on an invitation—such as the date, location, dress code, and a QR code to the website—is printed on the other side of the cardboard box. Scanning this QR code allows guests to read more details and confirm their attendance. Photo: @Jazmin Reyes.
“The best part is, these bread invitations are half the price of paper invitations,” Jazmin Reyes added. Photo: @Jazmin Reyes. Also according to Jazmin Reyes, this is the first awesome wedding invitation product created by the design company Bridal Brandbook. Photo: @Jazmin Reyes.
Jazmin Reyes was initially concerned that her older guests would find her custom-designed wedding invitations a bit cringeworthy, but they were all happy to receive them. Photo: @Jazmin Reyes.
