The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that on March 24, many places across the country recorded heat waves. In the Northwest, the western mountainous areas of the North Central, Central Central and Central Highlands regions, heat waves occurred locally with the highest temperature above 35 degrees Celsius.
In the North, the weather is cold at night and early morning with the lowest temperature of 21-23 degrees Celsius. During the day, it is hot like summer when the temperature quickly rises to 29-31 degrees Celsius, 4 degrees Celsius higher than the day before.
The large temperature difference between day and night can cause temperature inversion, causing air pollution to return, especially in Hanoi. Humidity also recurs but is not too serious.
The meteorological agency forecasts that the above weather pattern will last for two days, March 24-25. By March 26, the temperature gap between day and night will narrow, with warm weather remaining both day and night.

Notably, the heat wave in the South is likely to increase in the next two days and may continue. The highest temperature is commonly 35-37 degrees Celsius, with some places above 37 degrees Celsius. The lowest relative humidity is 45-50%.
The risk level of natural disasters due to heat waves in the South is warned at level 1. The forecast temperature may differ by 2-4 degrees Celsius from the actual temperature felt outside, or even higher. This depends on the conditions of the buffer surface such as concrete and asphalt.
Given the above developments, people should be on guard against the risk of explosions and fires in residential areas due to increased demand for electricity and the risk of forest fires.
In addition, heat can also cause dehydration, exhaustion, and heat stroke in the human body when exposed to high temperatures for a long time.
