CEO Quoc Cuong Gia Lai receives unexpected income
Quoc Cuong Gia Lai Joint Stock Company (QCG) has just announced its audited semi-annual financial report for 2025.
The report recorded that Quoc Cuong Gia Lai's revenue in the first 6 months of 2025 reached VND 242.5 billion in net revenue. Thanks to that, QCG's after-tax profit reached VND 10 billion, a significant improvement compared to the loss of VND 16.6 billion in the same period last year.
With positive business results, the income of many QCG leaders increased. For example, Mr. Lai The Ha - Chairman of the Board of Directors - received 150 million VND in the first half of the year, nearly 2.3 times higher than the same period last year. Meanwhile, Chief Accountant Pham Hoang Phuong received 215 million VND, compared to 184 million VND in the same period last year.
Mr. Nguyen Quoc Cuong - General Director - received 84 million VND, equivalent to 14 million VND/month. Mr. Cuong was appointed from the end of July 2024.
How much income do Novaland leaders earn?
The audited 2025 semi-annual financial report of No Va - Novaland Real Estate Investment Group (NVL) also clearly shows the income and remuneration payments to the board of directors.
Of which, Mr. Duong Van Bac - General Director of NVL (appointed from November 2024) - received an income of 2.4 billion VND in the first half of the year, equivalent to about 400 million VND/month. This level increased by nearly 70% compared to the same period Mr. Bac received.
As chairman, Mr. Bui Thanh Nhon received an income of 600 million VND in the first half of this year, unchanged compared to the same period.
Regarding business performance, Novaland recorded revenue of VND3,714 billion in the first half of 2025, up 62% year-on-year. Although it still suffered a loss after tax of VND666 billion, this figure has decreased significantly compared to the negative VND7,327 billion in the same period last year.
The audit report also stated that the group successfully sold 7 assets and collected 13,506 billion VND. The group also signed principle contracts for the sale of 5 assets with a total value of 7,667 billion VND, and signed a memorandum of understanding for the sale of 2 assets with a total value of 3,400 billion VND.
Phat Dat Real Estate, An Gia: where income is stable, where it skyrockets
Phat Dat Real Estate Development Joint Stock Company (PDR) also announced its semi-annual audited financial report with a more positive business situation.
PDR's revenue in the first 6 months of this year reached 457 billion VND, 2.7 times higher than in the first half of 2024. Profit after tax reached 115 billion VND in the first half of the year, up nearly 13%.
Despite the growth in business results, the income of the company's management board remains relatively stable compared to the same period. For example, Mr. Nguyen Phat Dat - Chairman of PDR - received a total income of nearly 970 million VND. The highest earner at PDR is Mr. Bui Quang Anh Vu - General Director, with more than 2.81 billion VND.
Also related to the PDR boss, the decision to transfer 88 million PDR shares by Mr. Nguyen Van Dat - Chairman of the Board of Directors - is attracting attention in the market.
If the deal is completed, Mr. Dat's ownership ratio at PDR will decrease from 36.72% to 27.7%, equivalent to nearly 272 million shares. In return, Mr. Dat can earn nearly 2,200 billion VND after reducing his share ownership ratio.
Although it is a negotiated transaction, many investors are concerned that PDR's stock price may be affected in the near future due to the leader selling a large amount.
At An Gia Real Estate Investment and Development Joint Stock Company (AGG), Mr. Nguyen Ba Sang - Chairman of the Board of Directors - received an income of 1.24 billion VND, an increase of 66% compared to the same period last year.
Two independent members of the Board of Directors, Mr. Le Duy Binh and Mr. Do Le Hung, received 133 million VND and 333 million VND respectively, both of which increased sharply.
Meanwhile, AGG Deputy General Director Nguyen Mai Giang received an income of 680 million VND, an increase of 35%. Chief Accountant Nguyen Thanh Chau received 625 million VND, an increase of 16%.
