Kinhtedothi - The Politburo assigned and appointed Mr. Dang Xuan Phong - Secretary of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and hold the position of Secretary of Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

On the morning of January 11, Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo 's decision on the transfer and appointment of Mr. Dang Xuan Phong, Secretary of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee, to hold the position of Secretary of Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee.

Mr. Dang Xuan Phong was born in 1972, from Tien Lu commune, Lap Thach district, Vinh Phuc province; has a doctorate in economics , a bachelor's degree in political theory. In 1994, he started working at the Department of Planning and Investment of Lao Cai province as a specialist in the General Department.

Mr. Dang Xuan Phong has held many positions such as: Head of General Department; Deputy Director, Director of the Department of Planning and Investment of Lao Cai province; Vice Chairman of Lao Cai City People's Committee; Secretary of Bac Ha District Party Committee, Lao Cai province; Vice Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee; Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee.

Since October 2020, Mr. Dang Xuan Phong has held the position of Secretary of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee and up to now, Mr. Phong has been officially transferred to the position of Secretary of Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee.
