At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, presented the decision of the Provincial People's Committee approving the election results for the position of Chairman of Nha Trang City People's Committee, term 2021 - 2026 from July 18, 2024 for Mr. Tran Minh Chien, Provincial Party Committee member, Deputy Secretary of Nha Trang City Party Committee.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee emphasized that under the leadership of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, headed by the Secretary of the City Party Committee, Mr. Tran Minh Chien and the leaders of Nha Trang City People's Committee need to make efforts to complete their tasks, continue to build a united and strong leadership team, and strongly lead the development of Nha Trang City.
In the coming time, Mr. Tran Minh Chien and the collective leadership of Nha Trang City should pay attention to the following contents: Urban planning to be civilized and modern, good management of construction order in the area, building a green - clean - beautiful environment, implementing social security policies well, especially for the poor, policy families, single people, focusing on sustainable development of "smokeless" industries, making many achievements to welcome the 18th Nha Trang City Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030 and the 19th Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
In his speech accepting the assignment, the new Chairman of Nha Trang City People's Committee, Mr. Tran Minh Chien, promised to strive and train in all aspects, seriously implement the Party's policies and the State's laws and policies, together with the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and Nha Trang City People's Committee to unite, innovate, be creative, determined and resolute in directing and operating, overcoming limitations, removing "bottlenecks", striving and preserving the good foundations and values for the goal of building and developing Nha Trang City into a central urban area of the province as Resolution No. 09 dated January 28, 2022 of the Politburo has directed and oriented.
It is known that previously, on July 17, at the 8th session of the Nha Trang City People's Council, term XII, 2021 - 2026, Mr. Tran Minh Chien was unanimously elected by the Nha Trang City People's Council delegates to the position of Chairman of the Nha Trang City People's Committee, term XII, 2021 - 2026.
