Mr. Trinh Viet Hung was appointed Secretary of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee.

(Dan Tri) - The Politburo appointed Mr. Trinh Viet Hung to hold the position of Secretary of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

On the morning of September 29, at the Lao Cai Provincial Conference Center in Yen Bai ward, the 1st Lao Cai Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, took place.

At the conference, Mr. Phan Thang An, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee, announced the decisions of the Politburo and the Secretariat on the appointment of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Secretary, and the Deputy Secretary of the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

Accordingly, the Lao Cai Provincial Party Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term has 65 members, the Lao Cai Provincial Party Standing Committee, term I, has 17 members.

Specifically, the Politburo appointed Mr. Trinh Viet Hung, Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, to hold the position of Secretary of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term. The Politburo also appointed Mr. Hoang Giang, Ms. Tran Huy Tuan, Ms. Nguyen Tuan Anh, and Ms. Giang Thi Dung to hold the position of Deputy Secretaries of the Provincial Party Committee.

According to Mr. An, the Politburo recently issued a policy on mobilizing, assigning, and appointing Mr. Trinh Xuan Truong to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and hold the position of Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term. This decision will be announced and presented at the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee.

Mr. Trinh Viet Hung was born on October 1, 1977, hometown is Hai Duong province (old) now Ninh Giang commune (Hai Phong city), educational level is Doctor of Business Administration.

Before holding the position of Secretary of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term, Mr. Hung held the following positions: Permanent Vice Chairman of Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee; Chairman of Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee; Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee.
