Pac Nam meeting to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Militia and Self-Defense Forces' Traditional Day

BBK - On the morning of March 27, the District Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Pac Nam district held a meeting to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Militia and Self-Defense Force (DQTV) tradition day (March 28, 1935 - March 28, 2025). Attending the meeting was Colonel Hua Chien Thang, Deputy Political Commissar of the Bac Kan Provincial Military Command.

At the meeting, delegates reviewed the 90-year tradition of building, fighting, growing and the glorious victories of the Vietnam People's Army in general, and the tradition of the People's Army and the People of Pac Nam district in particular.

Along with the development of the Vietnam People's Militia and Self-Defense Force, the Pac Nam District People's Militia and Self-Defense Force is constantly being strengthened and built strong in all aspects. The quantity and quality of the Militia and Self-Defense Force are constantly being improved. The district's Militia and Self-Defense Force always upholds the spirit of vigilance, strives to overcome all difficulties and challenges, closely coordinates with security and order forces, and performs well the local military and defense tasks; at the same time, is always proactive and active in labor and production, contributing to promoting socio-economic development in the district.

Pac Nam district leaders awarded certificates of merit to collectives and individuals with high achievements in the emulation movement to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam People's Army.

Currently, in addition to training and combat readiness tasks, the district's militia and self-defense forces are always at the forefront of preventing, combating and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters and epidemics; coordinating with other forces to maintain political security and social order and safety, contributing to strengthening the national defense, associated with a solid people's security posture, creating favorable conditions for local economic development.

Since the establishment of the district, the militia and self-defense force has had many practical achievements, together with other forces, contributing to helping Pac Nam district achieve many achievements such as: Being awarded the Third Class Labor Medal by the President; 02 Certificates of Merit by the Prime Minister; 01 Certificate of Merit by the Minister of Home Affairs ; 01 Certificate of Merit by the Head of the Northwest Steering Committee; 19 Certificates of Merit by the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Kan province. The District Military Command was honored to be awarded the Flag of the leading unit in the emulation movement by the Military Region 1 Command 3 times. That is a great source of encouragement and motivation for the people and armed forces of Pac Nam district to continue to strive in the coming time.

On this occasion, the District People's Committee commended 06 collectives and 08 individuals for their outstanding achievements in the emulation movement to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Militia and Self-Defense Force's Traditional Day (March 28, 1935 - March 28, 2025)./.
