What makes Pauon Ecolakes so special is the way it blends into the nature and scenery of the lake. Instead of rough concrete blocks, there are bungalows, viewing huts, and restaurants designed with a gentle, harmonious architecture, respecting the mountains, forests, and rivers. With 12 separate homestays and 3 communal rooms, Pauon Ecolakes can accommodate about 60 guests at a time. Each space is carefully designed to provide privacy and coziness while still preserving the "breath" and local culture.

Mr. Nguyen Manh Tuan, Director of Pauon Ecolakes Tourist Area, said: Building Pauon Ecolakes, with the desire to bring to the lake area a resort in harmony with nature, preserving the inherent ecosystem of the lake area. Therefore, the constructions are built in a natural direction, "clinging" to the river bank with trees and grass, the houses are compactly designed, not built high-rise, environmentally friendly materials but still ensure solidity and safety.

In the resort grounds, the unit meticulously planted many colorful seasonal flowers, creating poetic check-in corners. Homestays are hidden on colorful flower carpets, winding paths on the hillside for visitors to stroll and admire the scenery. Each room has a view of the deep blue lake, allowing you to fully enjoy the moment the clouds and sky change on Pa Uon Bridge, the bridge with the highest pylon in Vietnam spanning the Da River.

Mr. Tran Lenh Ngoc Cong, a tourist from Quang Tri province, excitedly said: This is the first time I have come to Quynh Nhai hydroelectric reservoir and chosen Pauon Ecolakes as a place to stay. I was very surprised and impressed with the experiences here. In the middle of the mountains and forests, the immense lake has a well-invested resort with quality services, bringing a feeling of comfort and enjoyment to visitors.

The highlight of Pauon Ecolakes is Binh Yen Bay, a floating house complex with unique experiences on the water, such as: Food service, event organization, boating, and entertainment on the lake. True to its name, Binh Yen Bay is where visitors can find absolute peace. Located entirely in the middle of a vast lake, this is truly a place where nature and people blend together skillfully, without any forcedness.

After hours of exploring the lake, visitors are once again conquered by the unique and sophisticated cuisine, imbued with the unique identity of the dedicated tourism workers. Or continue to enjoy the vibrant atmosphere with unique performances, rich in the cultural identity of the river region.

Mr. Nguyen Manh Tuan, Director of Pauon Ecolakes Tourist Area, added: In the near future, when recognized as a tourist destination of the province, Pauon Ecolakes will upgrade some high-class resort services, health care, jet skiing and water adventure sports... to help tourists when coming to Quynh Nhai have many rich and interesting experiences, attracting and retaining tourists to the lake area.
Pauon Ecolakes is currently completing services, infrastructure, necessary criteria, completing the registration dossier to be recognized as a tourist destination according to the Tourism Law in 2025. With methodical investment, exploiting natural advantages in a sustainable way, Pauon Ecolakes has truly become a bright spot of Son La tourism, a destination not to be missed in the journey to discover the beauty of the hydroelectric lake.
